I done a guided tour of St Georges Hall, I have lived in Liverpool all my life and had never been before. I was blown away by all the history and how beautiful the building itself is, really interesting. Would definitely recommend a visit.

We are local and have had many days out to St George's Hall. This is a magnificent building right in the centre of Liverpool. As it's right next to Museum of Liverpool, The Walker Art gallery and the fantastic renovated Central Library you must visit them all. We have had a tour of St George's Hall's court room and its underground cells and been there for the days when they expose the fantastic Minton floor in the beautiful ball/assembly room where the organ resides. We've also attended antiques and collectible fairs there and had afternoon tea in the tearoom. There is also a gift/book shop. There is a small theatre at one end at which we saw talk about Charles Dickens' readings (he read in that very theatre in the nineteenth century).

Well worth checking out! Follow in the steps of the accused from their cells into an imposing court room!
