Just returned from a one night stay at this hotel and must say how impressive it was. Stayed in a standard room which was very modern and trendy! The beds are really comfy and the rain shower was amazing! There is even a speaker in the bathroom and the complimentary snacks are a lovely gesture! Didn't dine in the restaurant for the evening however the breakfast was very nice! Would certainly recommend this hotel!

Much better experience than The Sir Thomas Hotel in January/Feb which I reviewed!
We got a really good deal through Tripadvisor of bed/breakfast with afternoon tea and late check out for £89.
The hotel is centrally situated near the Liver Building. Its ultra modern and the decor reflects the fact that it was built on the site of an important cotton warehouse. There are threads and cotton reels everywhere on the walls!
Good bar with snacks where we had a most welcome glass of wine when we arrived. Our bedroom was not enormous but well equipped. The fridge had complimentary crisps, water, coke and chocolate bar.
We booked dinner for eight pm at the Marco Pierre White restaurant on site. Not necessarily a good idea as we had afternoon tea at 4pm which was extensive - finger sandwiches, scones with jam and cream and cakes of every kind. We ended up doing the age old pensioner thing and wrapping some up for the next day!
Dinner was delicious, but no Marco, we didn't want to buy the hotel!! We had one glass of wine and the bill was nearly £80! However, fine dining!
Breakfast next day was plentiful, buffet style. Loads of fruit, yoghurt and cereal besides bacon, egg, etc.
Liverpool is such a lovely place to visit. The buildings are gracious, the shops are good and the attractions are mostly free. Certainly all the museums are. It is easy to walk round - everything is clean and freash! We keep returning!

This is a vibrant hotel and the rooms are something different all brightly coloured but not too over the top. It is a short walk from the train stations and Liverpool one and from the Albert Docks. There is a small on site gym. The Marco Pierre White onsite restaurant is really minimalistic and trendy too and the food wasn't bad either. I would most certainly recommend this hotel for a short stay in Liverpool City Centre.

Room Tip: We had a room on the back of the hotel and couldn't here any noise from outside at all

Me and my husband stayed here to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary and from the moment we walked through the doors we were made to feel to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble . The room was not very big but was very comfy and the free mini bar is a very nice and unexpected touch . The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Liverpool as is within easy walking distance to all the main attractions . We only used room service for drinks but the service was first class and as all the other staff the young man who served us was polite and freindly . We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was very good and yet again the service was quick and efficacy was the key word yet again . The breakfast selection was also very good . We will be going back .

I stayed here on a recent business trip, the location is very central and even though the company picked up the tab it was very well priced for a city centre hotel.

The hotel has a MPW restaurant which was very good, the steak I had was amazing as was every other course.

The rooms are a very good size and all very modern with free wifi. There is carpark opposite the hotel which I used and for 24hrs was only £15.

I will be back to stay if I ever find myself in Liverpool again.

Stayed here for a friends hen do and was really impressed. I live in Liverpool and had heard good things and despite being on a Hen party we didn't want to stay in an apartment. We decided to treat ourselves and got a good deal via the hotel inc a bottle of bubbly on arrival.

The rooms were spacious and nicely lit and were very modern and i loved the colourful decoration. The bathroom was big and had an amazing power shower and little extras like being able to listen to the tv/ radio while in there was cool. Nice products and the beds were really comfy, lovely to come back to after a night out.

The lounge areas and restaurant were nice, again very contemporary and the menus looked good although we didn't eat it looked good, especially afternoon tea which I hope to sample at a later date!

Location wise this hotel is perfect for a city break, close to the Albert dock, Liverpool 1 and has convenient car parking available opposite.

I recommend Moose Coffee on Dale Street for breakfast, only a short walk around the corner.

In summary I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Liverpool, especially for those looking for a hotel that's modern, clean and stylish and different to all the other big chain hotels that are popping up all over town.
