Stayed one Sunday night in April. Free car park, so very convenient. Good staff at reception, lovely clean room, bed not that comfy but ok. Breakfast just ok, but for £47 per night, gerat value, will definately stay again.

I use the Liner whenever I`m in Liverpool on Business which is usually every 2 or 3 weeks.
The rooms are good size and always clean.
Buffet breakfast is always good and served from 6.30am is great for early starts

Room Tip: As long as I can still get a room here when I`m up, the best rooms are the street view if available.

Not a bad place, and nicely positioned. Did have a couple of problems. Heating did not come on until 7.00pm even though it was actually hailing outside (October). Complained, so they put it on at 6.30pm, still too late. Also cigarette smoke coming in ventilation grill, we suggested a quick fix of blocking off, complaint was completely ignored They did give a £5 reduction for the heating problem. Will not use hotel again for pleasure, and nor will my company for business.

My boyfriend and I stayed here on a Friday evening. Only cost us £60 for the two of us - bear in mind this includes parking, wifi and breakfast! The staff were very friendly. Our only gripe was the lifts! They were extremely slow and when we tried to find the stairs we ended up on the staff stairs! A lovely staff member showed us the right way so no problems but perhaps better signs for customer stairs (if there are any!) would be beneficial :) the room was very clean and tidy. Overall it was a fab stay. Definitely recommend!

This was centrally located, free parking and excellent service. Every where is very clean, traditionally furnished, not a bling modern hotel. The bed was huge and very comfortable, the bathroom modern and clean if small. Breakfast for me was excellent with a range of continental and English breakfast options. We used it as a base for exploring Liverpool and it was superb for that. Free wifi. Generally, it would to my mind, be a top 3 star of low 4 star, but for what we paid we were very happy. The clientèle is mostly middle aged and I was glad of that when we saw the huge groups of hen parties and wild young things out on the town. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who needs a base in Liverpool for a tourist trip. It is not the sort of hotel where you spend time in it- ie no spas gardens etc But we had not booked it for that and it fulfilled our purpose excellently. We normally only book top 5 star, and I did not regret our decision for a more economical base. The Cathedrals ( particularly the Catholic one), was amazing and a fascinating trip to the crypt is a must to watch videos and learn about the history of Liverpool, in particular the Irish immigration. The city to walk through has wonderful architecture and I wondered why we have been travelling all over Europe to see cities. Geneva fro example is not a patch on this! DO VISIT Liverpool you will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: If you are a light sleeper maybe ask fro a room not on the station side as once or twice I was distu...

We have just spent 4 days at this fantastic hotel. We booked this on reading previous reviews an was not disappointed. It was spotlessly clean, the room was perfect for our needs. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. There was ererything you would expect for breakfast, even if you didn't want a fry up although we did hear the odd adverse comment from the usual whiners who obviously went out there way to do this..never happy!!! We had 2 meals in the Seven Seas Restaurant and found them most enjoyable.A credit to chef and aides. The hotel was fairly well situated for ease of getting about with only a slight gradient to walk back to it. All in all a very pleasant hotel.Keep up the good standards. Well woth considering for a 2nd visit.
