Just returned from my hen do in Liverpool. Part of the weekend was an excursion to the Crowne Plaza for their spa day. The girls all had a massage by the wonderful Sue and Lou.
Sue is a freelancer at the hotel and I can't tell you how fantastic her, her team and the service is. I highly recommend booking in at the salon.
Sue was accomodating, welcoming, hillarious, kind and fantastic at her job - can I marry her instead to have her on hand with daily massages?!
Afterwards Sue took us down for afternoon tea and the setting was lovely, in a gorgeous booth. Restaurant/bar service very slow but we were having too much fun to let it make a difference.

If you're in Liverpool and/or staying at the Crowne Plaza - book in with Sue and Lou, they will make your trip memorable, relaxing and you won't want to leave.

Thank you ladies for making it such an amazing experience - will never forget it as part of my hen do.

So highly recommended.

Room Tip: Didn't stay at the hotel. Visted the spa for the day.

Dear guest, thank you very much for taking the time to post such a wonderful comment on the pamper day you had at our Harbour Club. I am so happy to read how Sue and Lou made your experience memorable for you all on such a special occasion. We are delighted to have such wonderful and talented staff here at the hotel. You will have to come and stay here at the hotel next time and enjoy the hotel as a whole. I do apologise for the slow service in the lounge bar I will personally pass on this comment. We hope you will have the opportunity to welcome you to stay here with us at the Crowne Plaza City Centre Liverpool in the near future.

Best Wishes and hope you have a lovely wedding from all at the hotel.

We have just returned from a short break and this was the first time we have stayed in this hotel. We will be staying here again . From the minute we arrived , we had a warm ,friendly welcome from the reception staff and cake and an anniversary card awaited us in our room, just another nice touch.I had requested a room with a view and it didn't disappoint as we could see over the Mersey . a lovely view.
Our first night was spoilt by the constant droning noise above us , which kept us awake most of the night. I complained the next morning and without fuss , we were moved to a quiet room , still with nice views over the dock. I think this is a problem that the hotel need to resolve for other guests , but in our case the staff handled the situation with such grace , I cannot complain.
We had one of the best breakfasts we have ever experienced , with a large choice and requested an omelette , which was freshly cooked and brought to our table . We also enjoyed the evening meal in the restaurant , very tasty , and although a bit pricey , no more so than usual for hotel prices. We had a swim in the larger than usual hotel pool and relaxed in the comfortable bar lounge. Overall , a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms where the A/C is above you !

This was our fourth visit and it just gets better. The reception staff are very helpful and the new male addition was great,he had a good sense of humour definitely a Scouse one which I really appreciate. The restaurant staff are also very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is very well organised and superbly cooked. Also the cleaning lady on our floor was very very pleasant and smiley. The next time I must look out for name badges. The last person I would like to praise is the doorman a most lovely smiley gentleman.

This is a very well placed hotel with lots to do locally. We generally had a very nice couple of days here.
However, I am totally wheelchair bound so we had a 'disabled room'. Our room had a shower within the bath, so it was completely useless to me.
A true disabled room bathroom should be a wet room with a shower chair.

Dear guest, thank you very much for taking the time to post a review on your recent stay here with us at the hotel. I am sorry you were not aware we had a bath in the room; however we do have rails alongside the bath and in the room for your safety. Unfortunately we do not have wet rooms, but your comments are vital to us and we will keep this in mind for any future developments of the rooms. Thank you once again and I hope you will consider staying here with us in the future.

Just spent a weekend here again and the visit met with our previous good experience of the hotel with excellent service provided by the staff and a great room overlooking the pier Head.

Breakfast was the usual good standard; I went for the special order items both days (smoked haddock and then kippers) and they were cooked within 15 minutes and worth waiting for.

Weather was atrocious on one day and the concierge lent us both umbrellas for the day.

Didn't use the pool or gym on this visit but has been good before.

Stayed here for 3 nights last week and were really impressed with all aspects of the hotel. We booked a luxury double which incorporated a king size bed and a nice view of the dock where the cruise ships dock. Included in the deal was access to the club room where, between 5pm and 7 pm, we were treated to free drinks and nibbles etc. You could also access this room for a continental breakfast should the restaurant be particularly busy. Nice touch. The breakfast in the restaurant was something to look forward to. The staff were very helpful and added that touch of humour as only Liverpool people can. The location was superb for a city break. Walking distance to most attractions and restaurants. Good value for money in August when the hotel has very few business guests. Will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Go for the luxury rooms on the 3rd floor to get the "Club Room" benefits
