I spent one night here with my best friend. We were visiting Liverpool for the first time and I was really pleasantly surprised.
The hotel is in a perfect location with a brilliant view over the docks and just a very short stroll to the main shopping area, the car park and also the Echo arena.
Lovely restaurants and shops in the docks area, I relaxed completely as nothing was a problem!
The hotel was what you expect from a Holiday Inn, but it had more character due to the history of the building.
I will definitely return and would purposely come to Liverpool for a shopping or concert weekend - it is beautiful!

Just a one night stay for a shopping trip. Ideal location adjacent to the refurbished shopping centre. Nice clean and extremely spacious hotel. Our room was a twin room and was massive. would easily have accommodated 2 king size beds. Great position on the regenerated dock and lots of lovely restraunts just minutes walk away. Dock side and liver building beautifully lit at night. Only down side was breakfast, little variety and the only cooked items sausage beans and scrambled egg were all just luke warm. Staff were fine and helpful. Parking next to hotel is £15 pound a day but a multi story just a few minutes walk away is £10 a day and hotel have negotiated a discount on that so that is the much cheaper option. Would use this hotel again

As with all Holiday Inn Express hotels we don't offer full english breakfast we offer a substantial continental breakfast plus the three hot items you mentioned of sausages, scrambled egg and baked beans. I will certainly speak to the breakfast staff regarding you comments.

I used the advanced booking facility to get the best price on 2 rooms at Holiday Inn Express, Albert Dock Liverpool for colleagues but when extra night were taken, the rate was taken off my credit card without approval. I was not even present! Check-in was apparently a shambles but how did they get access to my card, I made my purchase of rooms 6 months previously!!!

When booking the advance purchase rate the card details taken at the time of booking are charged for the booking anytime between making the booking and the day of arrival. Without knowing the exact details of your booking I cannot comment on how, when and why your card was used. Please feel free to contact one of the duty mangers and they can review the guest bills with you to ensure that you are happy with the charges incurred.

Excellent location, in a most interesting building and with very good views across the Mersey. The hotel is so handy for all the tourist spots on the Albert Dock or for attending concerts at the Echo Arena.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and very comfortable and breakfasts were good.
There is no car parking on site but it is easy enough to park in the multi-storey car park by the Echo Arena and the hotel gives a 20% discount on the charge. It worked out at £7.50 per day.
We always enjoy visiting Liverpool and we will ensure that we stay in this hotel on future visits.
Only one thing that we forgot to mention before we left. Please oil the hinges on the bathroom door in room 333 !

We stayed at the holiday inn express at albert dock for a couple of nights. Location of the place is terrific...our room having a view over the dock. Breakfast was decent,standard fare. Check-in staff were helpful and pleasant Floorboards in the rooms are a wee bit creaky. Bed was comfortable. No signs to say whether the bathroom had been cleaned prior to our arrival and no complimentary shower cap, but this apart, the hotel was fine, seems to be frequented by business-types mostly. Would definitely use it again though

Holiday Inn Express operates a 'forgot something' programme - the details of which are displayed in the bathroom. Shower caps are no longer a standard item in guest bathrooms however they are available as part of the forgot something programme at reception.

Please to hear that you were happy with the location of the hotel.
