We went in here on a Sunday lunch time after a walk along the front. The decor is amazing and the smell of coffee as you walk in is so tempting. We watched the place fill up with people coming in for the carvery. We didn't eat here but could tell it was good from the number of people coming in for the food. We would go back again to eat. The staff are very friendly and look after you. The cocktail list is one of the best I have seen and they are really good.

Went a a family group for my elderly parents birthdays.Staff really friendly and helpful. We had a group of 10.All satrters and main cousres were severed together food was really tasty with a very good choice. If the food is goodI don't mind the cost but the value for money here was excellent.I will defintly be gong back.Only down side is parking no car park and because it is popular on road parking can be a walk as in my case parents were elderly and struggling to walk.

cramped as many into the room as possible, dance floor was extremely small.
starter goats cheese tart, which was very tasty but presentation was poor, not a garnish in sight so looked unappetising.
main course , many of us ordered beef, which was plentiful but very dry, tasteless and disappointing. plenty of vegetables and tasty gravy. the turkey appeared a better option.
people enjoyed the soup, the pate was tasty but not enough toast to go with the serving of pate.
deserts were disappointing no flavour at all.
the night took a long time to get off the ground, band was ok, made the most of the night and fought our way onto a packed dance floor.
the barbacoa has a good repuatation for the restaurant and bar food, however we would not go to the mass produced christmas party again.

My husband and I visited Barbacoa last week and were not disappointed. The restaurant itself was very well decorated, the lighting provided a lovely ambiance. The food was exceptional each course delivered more delights to the tongue. The waiting on staff were exceptional they were so attentive and made our visit even more pleasant.
Well done to the management you really have 'hit the nail on the head' with this restaurant.
