found hotel after reading reviews on trip advisor-was not disapointed.
staff at reception were polite and efficient, room/en suite was spotlessly clean -better than we expected, great value for city hotel.
location was perfect for us as we didnt want to drive around liverpool, shops, restaurants etc all short walk.

Went for one night over Valentine's weekend. The outside is very deceiving but this hotel was great! We were upgraded to a duplex room which was fab!! The internal fridge and work servce was a lovely touch. Bed was very comfy and very quiet room. Would definitely stay again. Fab location. Many thanks.

Very smart and efficient front desk.
Room great - mini kitchen microwave + fridge and free Wi-Fi much appreciated.
Temp control and very comfy bed excellent.
As a lone female traveller felt very private secure and comfortable.
(bought readymeal at M&S at station on my way in - Big Tesco at end of street too)
Everything I needed.

Myself and partner stayed here for 3 nights last weekend and cannot recommend this highly enough.
Very impressed with how clean the hotel was, the bedrooms were spotless, and very spacious. Great kitchenette unit also to stock up fridge wit own food and drink.
Staff were very friendlt and very helpful. Great security, gorgeous building and location is brilliant.
Will be most definatley staying here again. Have never been so impressed with a hotel
(some may think not having a bar or restaurant is a downfall, but i can't fault them for that, they will order you in food if hungry and allow you to bring your own food and drink to room which is great)

The room was perfect- big enough, quiet, comfortable with a huge bed. The staff were friendly, we got a discount to eat nearby and couldn't have asked for closer to the shops.
We will be back

My husband and I stayed in room 9 - the secret garden suite - for 3 nights.

It was on 2 floors with a private garden. The living area is spacious with 2 leather sofas, coffee table and dining table. There is a big LG TV with the usual chanels plus free games, free music and movies for £1.95.

The small kitchen is a great idea and we were able to bring drinks and snacks in from the Tesco a couple of minutes walk away.

There was a small cloakroom and a large bathroom with bath, separate shower and 2 sinks.

Upstairs was a large bed, another big LG TV and a dressing area with 2 wardrobes.

The hotel is located in a great area - just over the road from Liverpool One and the fantastic Alma De Cuba (the hotel can provide vouchers for 20% off food bills). The cathedrals are only 10 minutes walk as are the docks and Cavern Quarter.

There is parking at the end of the street (Q Park) and the hotel offers a 10% discount on parking rates.

The room was very clean and well decorated. It's not the quietest hotel I've ever stayed in - we could hear water pipes and other guests banging doors, but did not find it overly noisey as one of the other reviews state - it must depend on the room.

Some staff were friendly and helpful, although the girl who checked us in did so without a single smile - not what you want after arriving in a strange city after a very long drive!

Overall this was an amazing place to stay and we will be coming back.
