Location was right in the centre of the cities bar and clubs. Yet once in the hotel you feel you have left the mayhem behind.
Booked again for Christmas.

Base2stay is a quality hotel with high standards in all areas. The building itself is well designed with great attention to detail. From the checking-in process and room cleanliness through to the air conditioning and modern decor the experience was excellent during our recent stay. On top of that the hotel is ideally situated to suit all aspects of a trip to Liverpool with all amenities and tourist attractions well within walking distance. Highly recommended.

Rooms include HD TV with on board internet via wireless keyboard. Additional free wi fi in each room. There are 4 power sockets on the table plus a euronorm power socket. There are also two PCs in the lounge area. There’s no restaurant /breakfast area but each room has an adequate mini-kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities. There is no need for a dining area as the location is down town Liverpool and there are more than enough restaurants cafes etc. There’s also free espresso in the lounge.
The rooms are clean and comfortable maybe a little on the small size but optimised for the space available and a slightly larger than normal single bed. There’s no “view” as it’s downtown Liverpool. Considering this the hotel was quiet despite the fact that here were at least two Hen Parties there at the time and a lot of clubs nearby

If you’re driving the last couple of hundred metres is tricky due to the one way system

Night time reception is covered by two people when I couldn’t find my key I was let in to my 2nd floor room no problem. reception rang around to get us a good taxi deal to Manchester airport. Special mention to Lara, Patricia, Damien and Cristina (cool under pressure!)

Overall it's a great concept with a range of room types to suit every pocket. If you consider all the little "extras" it makes good value for money. I can't understand why people don't find this place ideal - all things considered. I have used several hotels in Liverpool and this makes a refreshing change

This hotel was a great place to stay for anybody wanting to come to liverpool for shopping or night out. We stayed in October for 1 night myself and 2 friends, staying in a triple room great laugh all being together. 3 single beds in rooms decorated to high stadard in a lovely building great walk in shower. Excellent place to stay for a night out. Round the corner from all the pubs, bars clubs in a big square. Would definately return great accommodation. Staff friendly and helpful.
