We were in Liverpool for an overnight stop over. Couldn't have asked for a better hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, room was spacious and very well equipped and the location was perfect for exploring the city. The best thing was the value for money, we felt it was exceptional. I had read one complaint that the hotel suffered from noise from local night clubs despite the windows being triple glazed. We stayed on a Thursday night and although the city was relatively busy we didn't have any problems. I guess if you are going to stay in a central location you should expect a certain level of noise or request to be put up on one of the higher floors.
My only gripe was the duvet and pillows were in my opinion low quality. The best sheets were quite rough and pillows quite firm. Had I not been so exhausted from travelling I would have found this an issue trying to sleep.
Other than that we couldn't fault this hotel and if you do want breakfast we would strongly recommend ordering from the Franklins at Fact service. We had a full English delivered to our hotel door within 15 minutes for just £5.95 and the quality was excellent!More
