We'd recommend this combination of street theatre and historic tour - especially for families with teenagers. It is somewhat chilling and very good value-for-money (our tour lasted almost two hours).

We went on a tour for my wife's birthday. It was tipping it down with rain most of the time but the guides / actors managed to keep us entertained and interested throughout despite the fact we were wet and cold most of the time. We saw the banking hall in the old Martin's Bank Building, which was amazing - a real bonus!

Enjoyable wander around Liverpools six original streets. Not a lot of content (15 minutes into an hour tour before the first proper information) but our 2 guides were fantastic and really threw themselves into entertaing us. Don't go if you're not prepared to join in, even the local traffic wardens get involved!

A bloody brilliant late night tour with The Mistress of darkness and her fiendish companion. A fantastic night that left me unable to sleep for a few nights after, who knew one's city could be so terrifying?! A wet and windy night was the perfect setting and the entertainment made it an enjoyable walk, would definitely recommend to anyone interested in the City's darker side.
