We loved Maray in Bold Street so we booked Maray at Albert Dock with confidence. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and efficient. We will most certainty return.

Visiting the Albert Dock to see the Keith Haring Exhibition at The Tate we were looking to have lunch somewhere that was a little different. We knew of their restaurant in Bold Street but never been in. The menu is a collection of small plates rather like tapas. We selected about six different dishes, the star of which was the cauliflower which had an array of different Middle Eastern flavours such as tahini and harissa to name a few. Also a dish I’d never had before of Monkfish cheek which was superb. The atmosphere was very friendly, it was not too busy as it was a Sunday afternoon. I thought it was pretty reasonably priced for food that was a little out of the ordinary. That staff were also very attentive and described each of the dishes in some detail, I would well recommend the restaurant to anyone who likes Mediterranean cuisine.

We weren't very hungry, but needed something small to eat. We'd seen Jay Rayner's review of the Bold St Maray, so when we saw we were walking pasto this branch in Albert Dock…

Sadly, we only had a couple of dishes, both vegetarian - which were way more sophisticated than they sounded on the menu.

As other reviewers have commented, the service was extremely good. It was fun being able to watch the cooks at work.

We liked it so much that we will likely go back for lunch. Perhaps at the Bold Street branch.

Been meaning/trying to visit the popular Bold St restaurant for ages so was pleased to find they'd opened up at Albert Dock. Very welcoming friendly staff, explained the menu really well. The food was fantastic, it was hard to pick out the best dish everything was a delight both in presentation and taste. Some really inventive dishes with interesting ingredients. I've eaten at Ottolenghi in Kensington and the food at Maray was definitely in the same class.

Perfect end to a great night out. Nice food and good service. Enjoyed the signature cauliflower dish washes down with the organic white wine.
