Our room was generously sized, with icy cool air conditioning which was very welcome in the middle of a heatwave. The bathroom had a huge shower, and there was an iPod dock and a flatscreen TV. The hotel is extremely convenient for the city centre and the docks - Liverpool One, the new shopping centre is about a two minute walk away. Our room deal was room-only but breakfast is available; there are also a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby. We had a lovely weekend in Liverpool to which the hotel contributed in no small part.

As a party of 10 on a birthday weekend away we were all highly impressed with the look and style of the rooms, very trendy with all mod cons included like ipod docks. The rooms with balcony's were extra nice especially as we had lovely weather. All the rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The service was excellent and the staff were extra attentive and went the extra mile when one of our party fell ill; checking on her and letting her stay in the room whilst we went out. The hotel is in an excellent spot right next to the docks, Echo arena and shopping at Liverpool one. Would definitely reccommend!

Heywood House hotel is situated close to the Liver Building, Albert Dock and Liverpool One, so was a good base for the weekend. Parking is available at a NCP car park - don't use the machines it's best to pay via text. Hotel very good, the room was excellent.
We went to the Picasso exhibition at the Tate Gallery and Toulouse Lautrec exhibition at the Walker gallery. The architecture in Liverpool is fantastic! Take a trip on the Mersey Ferry to really appreciate the cityscape.
