We spent there one night only but I could say the hotel is great, the receprion staff is very friendly. The room was small but comfortable and the design was excellent. The bathroom was warm and clean. Great place to stay. Location is perfect for sightseeing.

My fiance and I stayed at the hotel for one night over Easter. We had a fantastic time, the hotel location was perfect very accessible to the tourist attractions yet quiet enough to get a peaceful nights sleep! The staff were great, very friendly and keen to help. The hotel was incredibly clean, the carpets sumptuous, the bathroom spotless. The bed was divine, mattress was beyond comfortable, the duvet thick and obviously a high quality, keeping me warm without my partner becoming too hot as is often the case in our own bed! Shower was lovely, we both really didn't want to get out! The blackout curtains ensured the room really was covered in darkness, as my alarm went off at 9am the room was so dark it could have been the middle of the night. Bose speakers were a lovely touch, as was the well positioned tv. Some people have remarked that the rooms are pokey, or that you should be aware of the second floor rooms. We were in 212 and the room was a perfect size for the two of us. We honestly don't have anything negative to say. Loved the hotel, would definitely return.

Room Tip: Our room 212 was very peaceful.

great location, very nice and friendly staff, rooms have very nice decor and very clean and are worth paying that little bit more than a budget hotel. breakfast could be cheaper to encourage more people to have it. there is a nice bar and place to eat in the hotel and all the good places to go are within walking distance.
i would not hesitate to stop at Heywood house again.

Just stayed in the Heywood House Hotel over Easter 2013 with my daughter. We had a lovely room, upgraded to a plush and had a balcony - so nice. The staff are so nice and helpful. The hotel is located so near to Liverpool 1 and very close to some of the best restaurants in Liverpool - San Carlo, Picollino, Bar and Grill. Beds were also very comfy and the breakfast was very nice and cooked fresh - not from a buffet.
