Decided to visit to take advantage of their free food for NHS staff. Did not disappoint and already planning on going back ASAP. Vegan combo for 2 was sooo tasty - disregarding the offer of free food I would have happily paid the price and more for the combo as it was amazing. Cocktails well priced and lovely too. Can’t wait to visit again

Perfectly located on Bold street...you climb a set of stairs and are transported to the streets of India. The decor reminds me of my childhood, the open kitchen, the table arrangement, the desi posters on the wall, but mostly freshly prepared delicious food! The bar is inviting and there is a good selection of tapas style plates. Order at the bar...2-3 dishes per person- we went for the combo for 2 which comes with 5 dishes.
Dishes are served in paper pots and all the cutlery are made from sustainable materials and 100% biodegradable. There is a selection of vegetarian and vegan food which is on trend.
Every dish is cooked to perfection and well balanced. We particularly enjoyed the Panner tikka (Indian cottage cheese) which tasted like it had been cooked in a tandoor, which worked really well with the spinach and pepper sauce. It was nice to see the Indian chefs in the kitchen which added to the authenticity. There was a good selection of beers and mocktails. Service was offered with a smile and Charlotte came and checked if everything was OK with the food. The only complaint was that it was so tasty that we ate is so quickly and made a bit of a mess!

I am not massive in to the concept of eating from exclusively vegetarian menu. But this restaurant is the exception. Great food and lovely service and chilled atmosphere. Absolutely recommended.
