Stayed here for the Derby weekend. Rita was a lovely lady and very accomodating.
Smashing breakfast, and cooked to order. Nothing was too much for Rita.
Very close to both football grounds, goodison Park and anfield.

My Family and i stayed at Ritas for the weekend on the 4th 5th and 6th of november 2011, we had a fantastic weekend, from teh very friendly welcome on arrival by Rita. To the more than comfortable rooms,My wife and myself had a double bedroom with two double beds,as did my daughters. Rita seemed to have everything covered from the shower gel in the showers to the shaving cream for the gentlemen in the bathrooms, there were bottles of water in the reception area, along with various sweets for the guests, each room had its own kettle and drink making facilities. And in my daughters opinion, which is shared by the rest of the family, a breakfast to die for, and wicked toast. All in all well worth a visit if ever you visit Liverpool we intend to return.

Myself and three friends stayed at Rita's for our annual weekend's fishing and pubbing weekend away. Rita is a lovely person, the friendliest, most generous landlady we've ever met. In keeping with everyone in Liverpool I met. House is a large old victorian building full of character. The rooms are huge. You don't just get a small packet of bisciuts and sachets of tea, coffee and milk, you get a plate full of choccy bickies such as Vicounts and Penguins etc, soup, tea and a jar of coffee! The breakfasts were extremely generous and it kept me going all day. The room we had wasn't ensuite but the bathroom was just across the landing and was in the process of being re-furbished, so it should be very nice soon. One possible drawback, no telly in our room, but we only spent time in there briefly so it didn't bother me. . All in all, a very pleasant place to stay and I'd have no hesitation in recommending lovely Rita!

We stayed at Rita's over Grand National Saturday and she couldn't have been more helpful. We did everything in record time thanks to Rita's advice on transport to Aintree and into town. She accommodated our early arrival and [very] late return (!) as well as an early Sunday breakfast and cabs to the station. The rooms are enormous and very comfortable and she couldn't have done more for us.

First things first, they would accommodate a family of five in a reasonably sized room, and the "breakfast" part of the name won't disappoint you. We were there five days and that important first meal of the day was perfect, not just the full English Breakfast or the warm dining room, but the extras we got every day, even taking care of the preferences of each member of the family.
Rita & co were always helpful and willing to provide information and tips.
The rooms and facilities are OK; no TV in room but flawless Wi-Fi connection.
Walking distance from Anfield; well communicated with city centre by bus (I recommend it, with day or weekly pass which will take you as far as Chester or Southport from main bus stations).
All in all a very good stay in a place I'd recommend if you're travelling with kids and on a budget.
Thanks, Rita.

I stay in a lot of places around the country and this was one of the nicest. Its a big old building run by Rita and Drew who really do go out of their way to make you feel at home. The breakfast is a substantial english or if you prefer it Rita will knock up something else for you. You can get an evening meal at the B and B which can only be described as Tip Top. You don't know what your getting when you order it in the morning but wow what good value and super super tasty.

The beds are really comfy, the rooms are not to everyones taste but hey its a B and B not a soulless cheapy hotel.

Location is 10 mins from liverpool centre by bus. If not by bus taxis are cheap enough. No parking on site but my car has been parked on road all week with no problems. No TV in rooms but ther is a TV lounge and the Wi -Fi actually works really well so you can always watch TV on computer if you want. If your on business in Liverpool and looking for really good value accommodation then I would recommend this every time.
