Easyjet cancelled our flight to Belfast due to snow, to cut a long story short we ended up in the Hampton hilton. my only quibble is with Easyjet as they should have arranged pre paid accomodation, as it was a bit chaotic.
Staff at the Hamptons were polite and helpful.Room was lovely,looked brand new. dining/bar area very comfortable,but very limited menu that ended at 9.30. Bar too was limited,with staff multi tasking with check in and serving drinks!
It would be helpful to have a list of local bars/restaurents and transport locally.
A pleasant stay..

We stayed on one of the £30 offers for the night. We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly The room was clean and very comfortable. We had our tea in the bar, the menu was limited and all the meals were all priced at £8.95, The meal came very quickly and was very nice. breakfast was good but after reading other reviews there was no pastry's available. we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Stayed at the Hampton by Hilton hotel for three nights for business. This is a lovely hotel which has only been opened for a few months and there was a little bit of work going on just to tidy up the edges. The room was spacious, exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a good view over the airport and Mersey Estuary. A large flat screen TV made for relaxing evenings but not before an hour in the gym located opposite the reception area and free to use for all guests. It is compact but has everything you would want for a quick workout before dinner. The dinner menu was rather limited and the food adequate. Breakfast was a little disappointing but once again, adequate. This is the area that the hotel really needs to improve on but it is early days.

There is a bar and plenty of seating capacity to relax in.

All in all, a really nice hotel, and for anyone travelling out from JLA, they will surely get a good nights sleep.

We stayed here while the Jan sale was on so only cost £30 for 2 for the night. Hotel beautifully presented. No restaurant which is disappointing as nothing else nearby, there is a bar menu but didn't try this. For an overnight stay it is perfect, and the airport is literally a stones throw away. Rooms immaculate and decorated like a 4-5 start hotel. No noise heard at all. Free wifi.

Its never a good omen when signs saying 'satisfaction guaranteed or you don't need to pay ' have been deliberately covered up

The good points about the hotel =
good sized room,
clean linen,
close to airport terminal,
well insulated for noise.

bad points far outweigh the good -

sullen poorly trained reception staff who left folk standing at the desk for ages without acknowledging their presence . Also telling folk there is no food or snacks available and not being able to suggest alternative arrangements or offer to phone out for something is sloppy service Suggesting the airport spar shop [which was closed ] was not really sufficient.


he high uncomfortable bed that felt like something from the fairy tale the princess and the pea


No food available - no warm hearty bar snacks as described on the web site and the 24hr snack shop consisted of nutri grain bars, mars bars and crisps but we were told
we couldn't buy anything as the 24hr snack shop was shut.

stifling heat in the rooms -temp was set at 30 when we entered even reducing the temp to the minimum 16 made little difference to the oppressive heat

Breakfast - the hot food was horrific - heaps of excessively greasy , foul tasting bacon , scrambled eggs like readymix concrete
Coffee was basically brown tasteless hot water

I made the mistake of picking up an apple and my fingers sunk into the mushy rotten fruit.

My husband did not want to complain as he felt it would take too much time and we needed to check in to our flight - plus it was clear that the money back guarantee was no longer being honored

We will go to the far superior Crowne Plaza Hotel next time we need to stay at Liverpool airport
