My wife and I have stayed here twice now prior to early morning flights from Liverpool airport. The location of thr airport could not be better as a short walk brings you into the departure lounge of the airport. On both occasions we have used the park and stay facility, with the car park being below the hotel. Booked prior to arrival via holiday extras, and both without any problems. Rooms are clean, quiet and ample for a one night stay. Bar facilities are small but adequate but no real restaurant, only microwave food if desperate. We chose to eat in the Albert dock complex which is very attractive and about 15 mins away by car. The hotel staff were very helpful when I managed to puncture two tyres and had to have the AA work on the car in the hotel car park. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel

This hotel is situated right next to Liverpool airport only a two minute walk to the departure lounge.
The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nicely set out with just about everything you require Iron and board , hair dryer , flat screen tv , wi fi kettle with milk sugar coffee tea.
The en suite is modern and functional with a choice of rooms with either a shower or a bath.
The bed was comfortable , all in all the rooms were very nice with a veiw over the mersey.

I went down to the resturaunt which was well set out with a bar (beer very expensive £3.70) I ordered the fish in beer batter with chips and peas (around a tenner) and was horrified to find that when it arrived it was fresh from the microwave as were the dry oven / micro chips the peas were ok!

All in all for a one nighter this is ok but please try to serve freshley cooked food.

We booked into hotel the night before our flight to France unaware that the Hotel Parking could be booked in advance. We had booked into an external Long Stay Car Park which we discovered was very expensive for the 4 nights away.

The young man Tony on reception suggested we could book in to the Hotel Car Park although this should have been really done at the time of booking the Hotel.

He and the Hotel Manager went out of their way to negotiate with the Car Park Attendants in order for us to transfer to the Hotel Car Park.
We entered the Car Park but could not retrieve the ticket for exit on our return from France.

Tony again to the rescue !!

Our nights stay was most relaxing with continental breakfast ready for our early start the next day.

On our return to Liverpool after our trip Tony remembered us without prompting and arranged for our exit from the Car Park with a couple of phone calls.

Well done Tony - your Customer Service skills exceed all expectations.

We recommend the Hampton Hilton if you expect first class service with very comfortable and relaxing rooms at a fair price.

Last flight to the Isle Of Man was cancelled on friday 12th October. Staff at the airport seemed to be used to dealing with this situation. They informed us that we would have to spend the night at Hampton by Hilton Liverpool John Lennon Airport. Flybe would pay for accommodation/breakfast. After a smooth check in i went to my room 308 which was an accessible room. Everything was spotlessly clean with everything you could ask for in an airport hotel.
But the difficulty came when trying to use the bathroom the toilet was too close to the end of the sink. So i had to sit sideways. Turning round to get the toilet paper i banged my knee several times on the sharp corner of the framework/marble top basin. Takeing the skin of my knee in several places.
The shower presented a few problems. When sitting on the shower seat trying to reach up to the pump action soap dispenser was very difficult as they are too high and one fell off completely. Trying to adjust the shower on the riser rail was very difficult due to very little to get hold off especially with wet hands.
Restaurant. Food was dreadful and the breakfast was very limited in choice. I wish i had gone up the road to stay at the Premier Inn. They serve far better food and more variety. This is basically a good hotel but let down by the food.

We booked this Hotel after seeing it when flying from Liverpool in May and commented on how convienent it was location wise to the airport. Basically you cant miss it it's opposite the actual terminal so no taxis or airport buses required just stroll out of the hotel and your there. We booked a fly and park deal which was really good value. Check in was smooth, Reception staff pleasant and Hotel is very new and clean. Our large room had a view of the runaway but the windows are very soundproofed so we couldn't hear any noise outside. After a couple of drinks in the bar which wasnt cheap at over £20 for 4 drinks we retired for the night. I had the best nights sleep ever at an aiport hotel no corridor noise or noise from any other rooms. Continental self service breakfast is included in the room rate which is a nice touch manaaged to get a quick glass of fresh orange and a pastry and banana to eat on the go at 5.45am before our 7.00am flight.Very good value for money and with the parking package we made a massive saving the hotel give you a voucher for your return for the carpark which voids the charges completley. Would stay again highly recommend if you have an early morning flight like we did and want an stress free start to your holiday.

Room Tip: Ask for a Runway view

We chose to stay here, after a necessary visit to Liverpool, as it was at the airport where we had a very early flight the next morning. At check in, the staff were brilliant even if I had to lean over a guy fixing the floor!!

The room was superb and totally soundproof with great view over the airfield toward the Mersey and the in-rushing rain clouds!! Wifi was emails/internet browising only but free.

The room blurb said a "lite meal" was available and dining from 19.00 so we went down to have a drink at about 18.30 before going to an early dinner.

The "dinner" was served in the bar area and was already being served when we got there. Trying to find a comfortable seating away from a blower where work was being done and the air conditioning was the first problem.

The next problem was trying to find something edible from the menu that would best be found in a TJ Friday's - if that is not insulting to TJ Friday.......you then went and ordered/paid for the meal at the bar and took a little numbered flag to your table where the meal was brought to you by a great waitress.

Speed of service was not a problem for, as we found out when we saw the meal, there would not appear to be a kitchen as such. Instead, they must a have a few microwaves and a fridge in which they keep the boil in the bag./chilled meals for one with a few salad ingredients.

The food was quite honestly terrible. My wife had fish and chips where the batter was as if it had been applied to the fish (the cheap Vietnam one?) with superglue. It was nauseatingly soggy and inedible and the chips must have been cooked somewhere else and warmed through!! The service staff were brilliant and, upon remarking rather than really complaining, they immediately offered an alternative sandwich and refunded the price of my wife's meal (and gave me a free pint). Mine choice was the balti which was clearly boil in the bag and watery - edible just if not enjoyable.

We had an excellent nights sleep and would heartily recommend this hotel to the traveller using Speke airport (What is with this John Lennon bit?) PROVIDING they have already eaten at check in or know and have the means of transport to go somewhere decent to eat!!

Room Tip: No need as it would appear all the rooms are excellent....just do not eat there!!

We came on the train, nearest station was south parkway, outside station was bus stop, dropped us right outside hotel. Great reception staff. Room good. Breakfast fantastic but evening meal was disappointing. Surprisingly quiet being next door to airport, no noise at all. Would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Need to use the lift to get to the hotel.
