Stayed here for a couple of nights for a family trip to Liverpool.

Upon arrival all staff were friendly and helpful. Always able to answer questions about the local area.

All public areas and our hotel room were clean and well kept.

Breakfast was one of the best I have had in any hotel anywhere. We also celebrated a couple of special birthdays - and all the special plans for the birthday breakfast were organised well by the staff.

Only things letting down this hotel were

1. One member of our party asked for a morning paper each day - this was never delivered, even after mentioning it to reception after the first morning.
2. We asked for some extra tea bags for our room, but they never arrived - we had to ask again and that time we were given some then and there.
3. Strange having the toilet separate to the bathroom with no wash basin even.

As you can see, these are all very minor. We really enjoyed our stay, slept really well and all the food and drink in the hotel were great.

We stayed here for 2 nights at the start of November as we were attending a family wedding in Liverpool. Our room was on the 11th floor and was perfectly fine; just the same as pretty much any other Novotel I’ve stayed in. Bed was nice and comfy and the only things that woke us were
1. The construction going on next door which started very early each morning (on a Saturday and Sunday too!) which was beyond the control of the hotel, and
2. the fire alarm which went off at 6.50 on the Sunday morning, which was bit earlier than I wanted to be woken. Not sure what caused this but it turned off before we made it out of the room.

The staff we dealt with were friendly, although the reception could be a bit busy at times leading to some queuing. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying but we did not have any other food there so can’t say what the restaurant was like.

Location was superb and it is really right in the city centre and walking distance from all the shops and restaurants you need. Overall a good hotel, but fairly pricey and would consider staying there again if in Liverpool.

Stayed in an executive room, excellent value but could have been cleaner. Lots of space, liked the coffee machine, good quality + variety of toiletries. Location very central very near restaurants + pubs + a short walk from the albert docks. Breakfast has a great selection. Would recommend + would stay again.

Great rate for room only (£65) but don't bother with breakfast (c£13pp). Hotel full, long queue for breakfast, then squashed in with poor service. On check-out I was asked how the stay was so I did mention the breakfast problems and was just told 'there was nothing they could do, the hotel was full'. The male receptionist just wasn't interested - well if he didn't want to listen, why did he ask for my comments? Small pool and gym which were great as long as you are on your own in there. Apart from above, the hotel has a great location opposite Liverpool One shops and close to Albert Dock and if you can get a good deal, I'd recommend staying there.

Stayed at Novotel Liverpool over the October Half term, pleased with its central location, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast options good and pleasant surroundings. Car parking nearby and hotel give you a discount voucher to make it a little cheaper.
Hotel let themselves down by not setting room up for family of four but once staff notified it was sorted while we were out.

I would use this hotel again.

The Hotel is in a great location, close to albert docks and the city center.
The staff are giving great service but Im a bit disapointed with the breakfast. A small restuarants creates a line to get a table. But when you are at your table the service is good and the food is good.

We stayed in the Suite and that one have all you need, but the pillows could have been better. But its not much to complain about.

For me this is a great 4-star hotel with all the convinience you need.

What a pity .. beautiful hotel a few years ago when new, great location in city centre. Now its gone really scruffy, the carpet filthy, the curtains and walls stained. To be honest we enjoyed our stay (as Liverpool never disappoints) but this hotel is now seedy. Next time we will stay elsewhere.
