We have been using the Pan Am for several years now as a "quick supper" drop in before attending various events, concerts at the Liverpool Arena.
Last evening we had tickets for the Strictly Come Dancing tour (Fabulous Darling!) and again wanted a relatively quick and reasonable supper. Although some parts of the Pan Am could do with a spruce up, it is inviting in this part of the very old Albert Dock. The staff were efficient, very friendly and thoughtful. Although we had not booked (probably adviseable when the Arena is destined to be full), we were offered a lovely booth with a view. The service, comfort, food and nice surprise of a generous discount, when the bill came (because we had our show tickets), was much better than remembered in past visits. The steak was perfectly cooked as ordered!!!
This is a very busy place and gets "hammered" by high footfall, just needs a little more TLC in the area's of decor and a good 'dustn'polish'!!

We visited here for drinks after dining elsewhere on the docks, it was ok but nothing special. There is an air of arrogance about this place but without the service, ambience or quality to back it up. Its good for a few drinks but i would probably go elsewhere next time and there are far better places nearby to eat.

To dine at this enormous restaurant no booking is required. We arrived early, and throughout our lovely meals the entire restaurant ( it really is HUGE!!)only had 4 other diners…hence the not so great ambience. Our meals were very good indeed: we enjoyed steak and veges, bruschetta, cannelloni and excellent duck accompanied with a mixed salad and tasty wines. The cheesecake was yummy too, but we missed out on the coffee since there were no lactose free options available. We were also given a $10 voucher- which makes this restaurant probably the best for value in Liverpool!
(Should be a 3.5, a bit too good for a 3, but not quite up there with a 4..)

Party of 14 dined at Pan Am last night for my 30th birthday, the food was absolutely delicious and good value for money at £20 for 2 courses or £25 for 3 on the groups menu. A couple of mistakes on the final bill which the manager spoke to me about and promptly removed. Would recommend for special occasions!
