Masterchef Australia has a lot to answer for. Last series they were raving about Dim Sum - pork buns in particular so when we visited this restaurant on Good Friday I had to give them a go. They were delicious, as was the aubergine dish. I went through a phase at University of trying to find a way to cook aubergine that didn't involve copious amount of oil. Never found one. PM if you have a recipe. This one was, spicy, chilli, sweet gorgeousness. And full of oil.
The G/f had sweet and sour chicken, which in some restaurants is like eating KFC dunked in Tizer. Not here. It was chickeny, crunchy with more emphasis on the sour than the sweet. We were in and out in under an hour, without feeling rushed. The place was packed with Chinese which my mum told me was always a good sign. I think that she was right. Definitely worth a return visit.
