“Excellent Food, Excellent Service”
Reviewed August 3, 2012

We booked the Panoramic Restaurant for our Eldest Son's Graduation meal and wanted something really special, oh boy, The Panoramic Restaurant did not disappoint. Upon arrival we were escorted upstairs to the 34th floor by a very helpful receptionist, when we exited the elevator we were welcomed by a very charming gentleman who showed us to our table. The first thing you notice is the decor and cleanliness is of a very high standard. The views from our table were breathtaking, you can see as far as the Welsh Hills (on a clear day).
The waitress came to our table and offered us each a menu and asked us if we require any drinks, we ordered our drinks and looked through our menus. The lunch menu (which we had) had a good selection of starters and mains, we had all decided to have a main meal and a dessert.
The waitress returned with our drinks, mine was a white wine, it was nicely chilled and in a large glass, very nice.
We had our ten year old son with us who is a very fussy eater, all he wanted was chips and we couldnt see any on the menu, the waitress went to ask if they would do us a bowl of chips, and we were delighted (especially our ten year old) when she told us they would do some specially for us.
The food was excellent, I had the Chicken with asparagus and a side order of potatoes, the chicken was very succulent and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. The eight people in our party had all ordered something different, every one of them had empty plates and all complimented there meals.
After the desserts and coffees the waitress came to our table with a plate for our eldest, on it the chef had put a selection of mini desserts and wrote congratulations in chocolate, we thought this was a really nice thing for them to do.

Our whole experience was exceptional from beginning to end, brilliant food, amazing service, breathtaking views and good value for money, we would highly recommend the Panoramic Restaurant.

“Unexpected arrival.”
Reviewed August 2, 2012

One couple showing another couple the sites of Liverpool and it's changes since their last visit, many years ago. A sunny Sunday afternoon. We wanted a bite to eat, nothing too substantial and after rejecting the dark and view less room where afternoon tea was being served in the Hard Days Night Hotel, we took a chance and a taxi to the Panoramic building. The reception staff rang the restaurant who quickly called back after consultation with the chef. It was 2.40pm. No problem, come on up. May not be able to do the full afternoon tea but we can bake some scones and you can choose a dessert from the lunch menu or snacks from the bar menu. We did just that. Had to wait a while for the scones but they were obviously freshly baked and to die for. We had the magnificent view and delicious cocktails to amuse us. The ors d'oeuvres were tiny (10 for £12) but delightful. Good selection of teas too. Staff were polite and very formal. One large family group finishing lunch, a couple having post lunch drinks and another family group arrived around 3.30pm. Otherwise it was empty. They were so accommodating that we shall definitely return for lunch or dinner soon. Spectacular views.

“Good food, great service.”
Reviewed July 30, 2012

We had made reservation, but were asked to wait upon arrival. We were placed by the bar which had a great selection of cocktails, and You got some time to enjoy the view before dining. The waiting time was a bit long, but we were with friends an the cocktails kept us busy so no biggie.

When we were seated we got very good service from our waiter. He did a great job througout the night. They have changed the menu since I visited so I can't reccommend any dishes, but the food we had was good, but not the wow-factor we were hoping for.

The prices are not too bad, but You've got to pay more than at MacDonalds.

I would like to recommend this place to whoever are going for a night out with friends, or just for a date night.

“Sublime view and delicous food”
Reviewed July 26, 2012

The scallops were divine and cooked to perfection, I spoke to the Scouse Chef and Sous Chef to congratulate them on the delicious food. Staff were very friendly and professional. What was so nice was that all the staff were local Scousers (unusually these days) and the service was one of the best we have experienced, having been to many top restaurants around the world.

Also, enjoyed the bar and views (stunning).
