Description: At The Living Room our focus remains on sourcing the best quality ingredients, preparing them simply and delivering bags of flavour and texture on the plate. This is good, honest, robust and stylish food with its origins firmly in the European tradition with international touches. There is nothing frilly or fancy. A selection of Home Comforts - bangers and mash, fish and chips – are designed for easy eating yet there are also more elaborate dishes like Seared peppered tuna with salsa rosso or Roasted lamb cutlets with minted pesto vegetables. Small plates - such as cured ham with grissini and olives – allow for casual snacking while sandwiches and salads enable one-course, easy and casual dining. All-day opening is designed to facilitate easy access and reinforces a core ethos behind The Living Room; you, the customer, is the one empowered to make decisions and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to do that, enjoy it and be comfortable.

A great evening out with business associates and colleagues with really helpful staff. Wings were a bit undercooked but the main was divine and followed by the excellent Bazil Eton Mess... an indulgence for any sweet tooth.

“Had the best night ever!”
Reviewed June 3, 2013 via mobile

Spent the weekend in Liverpool and booked this restaurant for a friends birthday. There were 4 of us! We ordered the Gressingham Duck which was absolutely divine! We had cocktails and the Sticky Toffee puf and chocolate parve was to die for! We were served by Jacque a nice young man who was very kind and courteous. We did email the restaurant and ask for something special for the birthday girl but never got anything, that didn't matter as the atmosphere and ambience was amazing, to top it all off there were two guys playing the piano and singing live hits which were current! I wish we had stayed in there all night, we moved on to other bars BIG MISTAKE.... the Living Room Liverpool is where it's at!! Enjoy x

“Great value early evening meal”
Reviewed May 30, 2013

We visited Liverpool with friends and stumbled on The Living Room early in the evening, they had a set menu available at £15 per person for two courses. The meal was really nice, service was good and there was an excellent house red for£10, a great deal all round and got our stay off to a great start.
