Year in year out consistently great cooking. A ridiculously last minute booking on my part in the festively busy peak period was warmly accommodated.Unlike many restaurants at this time of year the quality of the food and experience doesn't suffer. If anything-service has improved.Recommended above all,Scallops melting in the mouth with sumptuous bacon hock.Sea Bass with flavours etched on the memory days later and Cabbage (YES Cabbage)tasting like a champagne wave of countryside.Vegetarian delights of Fried Pumpkin cakes and Artichoke Polenta left my guest equally enraptured.Seriously good value Prosecco completed a great meal.

My second visit here last weekend. Every bit as good as my first visit last year. Unfortunately I don't get up to Liverpool as often as I'd like ...

I took the late afternoon/early evening menu. I loved the house wine - you get a free glass - it was every bit as good if not better than my bottle of choice with the meal! The meal was lovely, perfect. The ambience was really nice and the staff attentive and professional.

I commend this restaurant to you - if you are in the Liverpool area you really ought to eat there. It cannot disappoint.

My husband and I ate here on a friday night 14th December for his birthday. Firstly the overall atmosphere in here is really nice, seating comfortable and good music (really good background music). We come here on special occassions as yes it can be pricey but you know the saying "you get what you pay for" is so true. The quality of what is on offer on the menu is always and i mean always ( ive been coming here for years ) superb. I was a little unsure about the duck dish on the specials for starters. The waitress was knowledgeable and helpful beyond what you would expect and gave helpful guidance when asked. Every dish was so well put together, we could not fault the food in any way shape or form. The service was and always is in my opinion faultless. There was a couple of christmas parties going on which did not affect the quality of the service at all. If you want to eat here for a special occassion be sure to book way in advance. i tried to book for june for my 40th in June but they had been booked up 6 months before!! i am sure this is not a usual occurence as we got in ok this time but so as not to dissapoint.... writing this review thinking back i am salivating remembering what i ate, be honest.. how many times does that happen? They just have it right here which is so rare Well done puschka hope to be back soon

date of visit 4/12 -table for 4 7.45-First visit for me and my wife ,who were meeting a couple of friends in this well established restaurant. First impressions were positive, but the night went down hill from there. Poor service, not trained in the slightest, mix up over drinks and food order do not bode well for this place at all.Working myself in a city centre restaurant, i pride myself in customer servive which is paramount in this industry, especially in this current climate, and to add student types to your staff without training and knowledge is just not on!-The jury is out whether i shall return as maybe they just had an "off" night.
