Went here as a group of 4 for breakfast and to sum it up, I'd say it was OK. The breakfast menu, whilst a little unimaginative for an Italian American restaurant, catered well for a basic breakfast. More Anglicised than American, but in the UK that's to be expected. The service however was the real let down. 3 waiters and 1 chef to run a breakfast restaurant shift is just not enough especially in a restaurant that was fairly full. Bottomless coffee that needed us as customers to pester for refills, condiment trays that failed to show up and finished plates that took too long to clear away really took away from the American style experience that you get by the truck load just down the road at Damon's.
The food however was hot and tasty and the price blows Damon's out of the water. In all I'd say the food and price alone has earnt them their 3/5, but to get the full 5/5 they need to act on the customer service skills... More USA, less Wimpy.
Have a nice day!
