We went for Sunday lunch to celebrate my son's 40th birthday as we were staying near Lincoln for the weekend. We booked for 2 pm and were a party of 15 with ages ranging from 5 to 73. On arrival we were able to park our 4 vehicles in the Hotel Car Park which was a bonus. We went in the bar for pre-dinner drinks and were made very welcome, the staff were so friendly.. Our 8 year old granddaughter wished to take the 3 course orders on her phone and the staff were very patient which was a major task with 15 people and she was congratulated by the bar staff on her efficiency The surroundings were most pleasant, light and clean.
The meal was excellent in quality and quantity. The staff were most pleasant and helpful.
Next time we visit Lincoln we intend to stay here.

We have just returned from an overnight stay at the hotel and we we were extremely pleased with every aspect, from the friendly service to the cleanliness of the hotel throughout.
Our room was on the 1st floor and we had a side view of the Cathedral, it wasn't the biggest room we have stayed in but that did not matter to us as the décor was lovely and it had everything you needed, including one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in !
We had our evening meal in the restaurant which was part of our offer and was surprised to hear we could choose what ever we wanted to eat off the menu with no extra surcharges. The meal itself was fantastic,as was the breakfast the next morning.
Do not hesitate to choose this hotel if you are visiting Lincoln, you will not be disappointed.

We have just had a 1 night stay in this lovely hotel. The welcome on arrival was very friendly. All the staff which we spoke to while staying there couldn't have been kinder. The food in the restaurant was fantastic in fact one of the best places we have ever eaten in and we do eat out a lot. Our room was lovely and clean and fresh. We couldn't actually fault the whole stay and in fact we are thinking of going again with some friends. We were really made to feel welcome.

Stayed one night at this fantastic hotel. The welcome on arrival was excellent & was given the low down on the two distinction areas of Lincoln including a map of how to get around. The young girl who showed us to our room was fantastic, even served our breakfast, nothing was too much for her.
We stayed in the Franklin, a very spacious room with views of the Castle and the Cathedral, which meant we were Ideally located for sightseeing.
Overall a great hotel, would defiantly return if in Lincoln

As soon as the dates for my daughters graduation was announced, I booked a room for two nights at The Castle Hotel.

Prior to our arrival, I phoned the hotel the night before to confirm our room booking and to enquire if it would be possible to as access to our room ahead of the check-in time. As we were travelling up from Cambridge and I wanted to change before the graduation ceremony. Matt dealt with my request efficiently, whilst not promising me anything, he assured me that he would speak to housekeeping in the morning to see what they could do.

We arrived at 11.55pm, parked directly outside the front of the hotel and was greeted warmly by Pete who carried our luggage to reception. On route, he asked for our names and then confirmed that our room as requested was ready for us. I was absolutely delighted, as this gave us the opportunity to 'freshen up' before we headed off to the Cathedral.

After the ceremony, we decided to walk back to the hotel for a drink. We were met by a delightful young lady called Ruby who took care of us, and provided excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner.

Our room was lovely, with the decor and finish being of a very high standard. The beds were very comfortable, and we slept very well on both nights.

Breakfast the following day was wonderful, no buffet here at the Castle, just perfectly cooked food cooked to order, and amazingly no surcharge for items like Eggs Benedict, which my mother said was one of the best she'd ever had. Service was provided by Ruby, who remembered our names and was attentive throughout, she truly is a gem.

Sarah, Pete, Matt and Ruby need to highly commended on the service quality they provide at The Castle, their attention to detail and friendly professional staff are a refreshing change to the robotic service you receive in some many hotels these days. Over the the past three years I have been visiting my daughter in Lincoln, I have stayed at The White Hart, Hilton Doubletree, both the Holiday Inns and I can honestly say, the best by far has been The Castle
