Called in on Saturday for lunch, as our original choice was “not serving food” ( but that’s another story and left a review about this)
We have always seen people queuing up to buy gelato at this cafe, when we have walked down Steep Hill, so dropped in for lunch. We sat down at a table which was soon cleared and cleaned. We ordered coffee, camomile tea and two deli sandwiches, the waitress advised us that there was a wait, as they were busy, no problem with us, we are happy to wait and appreciate being told. The food and drinks soon arrived and were very tasty. All the food was fresh and my tea was super, loose tea served in a glass infuser teapot.
Just to mention this is a vegetarian cafe, so carnivores will have to go meat free!
On our way back up Steep Hill, we stopped off to sample the gelato which was very good ( well you need some sustenance to get back up the Hill)
My recommendation is pay them a visit, you won’t regret it and support local businesses in Lincoln.
