this was an ideal location for the football as it is literally across a small road into the stadium. The staff were very pleasant and helpful ,rooms were bright and cheerful and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good considering it is included in the room charge. nice view of the canal from our room and only 10 minutes walk into the city.

Good hotel but not for people who are not football fans as the hotel is situated within minutes of leicester city football ground and traffic can be a bit hetic when there is a home match. I stayed on a home match day but didn't have any problems. The only problem I had was that the bed was very uncomfortable but apart from that everything else was fine. The staff that I encountered were all very helpfull. Breakfast was ok apart from cold beans due to the warmer they where placed in wasnt turned on and bacon was missed. Very clean room, friendly staff and a quiet hotel and I would stay here again. Bonus for me was the free parking as this is a must for me when booking a hotel room.

Just stayed for one night and have no cause for complaints. The receptionist couldn't have been more helpful. On arrival, my bedroom wasn't quite ready as I was a bit early so I asked for a room that was ready. She duly obliged and I went straight up. The room Itself was spacious, clean and very comfy. The shower & toilet also very clean. The bed was great, firm AND soft pillows. Breakfast was o.k. Nothing special but edible and enough to choose from. Would stay again without hesitation..

Room Tip: Even number rooms on the higher floors are the best as they are quieter and overlook the river. Take...

Just what you'd expect. I've stayed here a few times for work and it's always the same. Good clean room, helpful staff and an ok all-you-can-eat breakfast. It could not be closer to the rugby stadium, so if that's your thing then this is the right place for match day. Otherwise feel confident that this Holiday Inn Express is as good as all the others.

I stayed here for one night after I dropped my son to university. The room was spotless, with a comfy bed and clean bathroom with great shower. The breakfast wasn't wonderful but OK for the price I paid and at least it was included unlike some hotels who add and extra £10 for the pleasure. Parking was free and it was easy to find.

We arrived at 13:30 on Sat 28th Sept I went to the reception desk just to let them know we had arrived & was greeted by a young girl who said "sorry we can't book you in any earlier we don't have the rooms" she said this with even looking up at me .....we booked in our room abit later it was nice & roomy butut we were in 225 which was above the refuse area so around 8am it did get quite noisy with the staff throwing rubbish in the bins !! There was only two tea bags & two little pots of milk in the room. Breakfast was hectic there was a long Que because they run out of food & cutlery. I had to eat beans on toast with a spoon. The cathering staff looked miserable & run off there feet . Plus points the room was nice & clean the evening receptions were very helpfully the bed was comfortable. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk into Leicester town the hotel is located in an industrial area opposite to Leicester FC .

Room Tip: Avoid rooms on the far right hand corner
