Heard a lot about Paddy Martens Dhaba so was a little disappointed with the reality. Tucked away near an industrial estate on central Leicester this refurbished pub is quite comfortable and welcoming. Unless you have a large appetite order small portions of everything because we didn't and got a little overwhelmed. The starters were fine but seemed a little like Tescos finest apart from the Chinese chilli cauliflower which was excellent. We ordered medium spicing on everything, but my dining companions found it all a bit hot. Probably not used to the use of fresh chillies in a far from run of the mill Indian restaurant. My lamb bhuna was very good but I will need to return a few times to get a feel of the cooking style . Three out of five seems a little stingy but I was not bowled over a I had hoped, but make sure you go and try it, booking essential at weekends. Good traditional Indian food but service was very slow
