If you are looking for traditional carvery then this is the place to go. All food is freshly prepared and always great valve. If you are picky about meats being tough then don't worry here, its always tender and never tough or 'fatty', There is usually a choice of beef, turkey or pork and a choice of a homemade pie, I have had Chicken in white wine sauce and steak and ale both of which are wonderful. As this is a pub as well it does get busy especially on a Sunday, I cannot comment on weekdays though. It is always best to book first and if you cannot get in, try their sister pub, the Kings Arms at Coleorton, same food same quality
