“Good food. Location is great, and friendly staff”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2012

I actually ended up going here twice in the space of 3 days. Once with my girlfriend at the weekend, the second was with a client for some food before the football. Both times, food was good. The location is great, and i'm glad that there is a restaurant re-opened in the premises. The staff are very friendly, and the price of the food is reasonable. I'll be coming back again.

“Brilliant evening”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2012

We decided to book a table with Fratelli's for mine and my partners anniversary. I looked on trip adviser and saw it had good reviews and I wasn't let down. We went on a tuesday so the place was pretty quiet, I would of liked to have been seated upstairs in the window as it looks lovely but becauseit was quiet we were seated downstairs. We decided to have the Marinara and Bruschetta to start. They came down in good time an were absolutely beautiful. And for main we had the bolognaise and a steak that came inside a pizza dough with tomato sauce, both were to die for. They were big mains but tasted amazing. I was so full in the end I didnt manage to have a pud which was slightly gutting as they looked so tasty. Overall We had a great night, the service was fantasic and we will definitely be returning soon.

“Nice evening - but nothing special”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2012

We had a nice outing on a fairly quiet Sat night.
Arrived early so had some drinks downstairs, staff were very friendly and polite, and then we were shown to our table upstairs. We ordered some bread and olives to nibble on whilst waitng for the main courses. Suprised to find cold veg in with the olives. Food arrived and looked well presented but it did`t blow us away.My roast potatoes were under cooked and the veg was a little bland. Both chicken dishes were ok.
Its a nice restaurant, well run with good efficient staff - we feel it needs to improve on the taste of its food. Perhaps we`ll try the pasta next time as we feel its deserves another outing.

“Amazing food, friendly staff shame about the slow service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2012

We went here on a Saturday night, its a lovely place and the staff are very attentive and welcoming. When we arrived we had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated, which i could understand if they were full but i could see several empty tables. We were placed on a table which wasn't set and right next to where all the cutlery, napkins etc are kept so we were continually interrupted (by apologies). The food was delicious, we couldn't fault the quality. We had a platter to share which took about half an hour to arrive which seemed excessive considering it was a cold platter. Mains were amazing, my partner had the Italian style beef wellington and i had the risotto. We skipped on the desert as by this time we had been there two hours and were ready to leave. We had 2 glasses of wines (house red went down a treat), 1 beer and a soft drink all of this came to £47 which we thought was reasonable. I believe its a fairly new restaurant and i think you can tell this, just a few teething problems which im sure with time and the support of locals as well as new customers will get better. Its in a great location with several good bars near by. I would recommend you give it ago, just expect a few hiccups but nothing to ruin your night.
