Dirty Room, service did not make it up (no staff)? Freezing cool. they switched of the heating. very noise upside: price is 55 €. location is a ctually nice old house but they need to renovate a lot! the bed was too small: just a queen size avalable. in german: das hat schon bessere zeiten gesehen.

just returned from this brilliant hotel having stayed overnight following our company's christmas party.
Cannot believe that people dislike the decor, it is in keeping with it's period and full of charm.
The food was good and hot which considering it was mass catering for a large party was unusual, most functions we have been to the food is luke warm at best
The staff could not have worked harder and they were so friendly, every one of them.
Breakfast was superb our compliments to the catering team,Well Done Chef.
the room was perfectly appointed ok not the largest of bathrooms but beautiful white fluffy towels and every amenity to hand.
I would not hesitate to reccommend this hotel.

Stayed one night booked well in advance for a works do. Booked a superior room. Room was very small. Very dated decor. Front door was locked after 12 and had to use a buzzer to get back in (a fire door). Service at bar was very slow after a certain time. And staff was very hard to find. Breakfast was not at all that great and the waiter was a bag of nerves after a night on the drink he had worse dts than me. And I would warn anyone to stay away from the tea especially in the room! Was expecting better for the price. Televisions aren't large flatscreens either. Beds was just normal doubles. Don't expect too much for your money, very far from the centre of town too. Overall, overpriced hotel and improvements needed on the breakfast no wonder it was included in the price.

Went to this hotel's murder mystery night on the 7th December 2012 with a group of friends priced at £31.00 which included a three course meal, first impression of the place was that it looked like a residential home for the elderly, in the bar area there was seating and a conservatory which had dining / seating area the heating was on in the conservatory but it was still very cold there, decor a little bit dated, the murder mystery itself was entertaining although whilst eating a very randomly mixed cd was put on, the meal was not anything to shout about shop brought and stuck in a microwave spring to mind, i also had a bit of a run in with the bar staff after being charged one price for my drink then within an hour being charged more for the same drink but did get my money back after when asked by a female member of staff if i was enjoying my evening, yes i enjoyed the company of the friend's that i was with and the entertainment but not the hotel itself or the bar staff that make up different prices for drink's (somebody need's a maths lesson ) would not recommend going to this hotel.

we held our wedding here. the day couldn't have gone better. lulu made sure everything ran perfectly. which it did. the food for 50 people was excellent and the evening buffet for over a hundred was incredible. the level of service from the whole team was out of this world. from the biggest to the smallest detail, nothing was to much trouble. a wonderful well run family hotel. lulu and team we can't thank you enough.
