Especially loved the mock up of the street and local shops. Lots of really interesting exhibits and information about the history of life in Leicester. The garden was small but pretty. Entry is free so it's well worth a visit!

It's a nice building, worth visiting but a bit empty and not enough going on... Think it could be better.

This museum is an absolute delight. The exterior belies how much there is to see inside. Exhibits to interest everyone including a cute little cinema showing the history of Leicester, a mockup of an old fashioned street and a toy and games section. Well worth a visit with pleasant knowledgeable staff.
