This hotel was ok but to be honest for the price I would prefer a Premier Inn. The room as fine nut the pillows very hard. There were four of us in a family room and we all said the same. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco via room service (£3 addition tray charge-beware) only to be phoned back 15 min later and advised they had none left??????? This obviously needs sorting. We decided to buy a drink from the bar in the hope u ok? They had a bottle already opened in the fridge but we were sadly mistaken. I asked if they had any other sparkling wines by the glass and they said no. A goodwill gesture would have been to open a bottle of the Australian fizzy to compensate but there was no mention of this. Ended up with a glass of Pinot Grigio - nice but I like my bubbles :(
Breakfast is expensive and they charge for children aged 13 and above. Also I don't eat hot breakfast only continental but this isn't an option-you have to pay full price regardless! Much prefer the Premier Inn breakfasts where kids eat free and you have a continental option. Much better value there.
Overall ok but Premier Inn all the way for us next time.More
