This tends to like musicals and dance (not my taste) but otherwise spectacular in variety of performances . Ive been about 5 times last year (2012) and wil certainly be going again, from houses falling on the stage to raining on the stage the acting and scenery is eye popping with some very well known actors appearing all the time ,the less well known actors/actresses seem to be enhanced by being in this theatre and are also first rate.

Thank Robert H

Recently me and my partner went to see a show, the atmosphere there is great, the drinks are quite expensive, but that was to expect. The facilities they have are good. Looking forward to returning soon

The Curve was easily reached from our hotel (adjacent to the main line railway station). We strolled there and were very impressed by the sleek modern exterior giving a welcoming glow to the streetscape. Upon entering via the automatic doors brightly lit with pink/magenta/purple LEDs we really liked the chic design of the public spaces. The ground floor featured a cafe and a bar following the direction of the curve (hence the name). We didn't try the coffee or drinks as we had just finished our pre-theatre meal at La Vida (see separate review) so we are unable to comment on the quality of the refreshments.
We had arranged to collect our tickets from the box office just before the show. It was seamless as we had booked on line, chosen our seats and our tickets were there waiting for us. Totally hassle free.
We were very impressed by the spaciousness and comfortable seats of the auditorium, the clean bathroom facilities and the general sense of 'newness' and pride the employees had in their place of work.
We enjoyed the production and particularly liked the imaginative touch of having a live brass band playing in the foyer during the interval.
Such was our enjoyment of the venue and the ambience that we have decided to see a further production in April 2013. I would recommend this theatre to anyone within striking distance of Leicester.
