“Brilliant room and lovely owners”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

We've been to Blackpool on a number of occasions and this is by far the best place we have stayed. The owners- Chris and Lillian are lovely and welcoming and even accommodated my Green Tea phase that I am going through!

Bedroom was lovely and shower was amaaaazing after getting soaked on a ride in the Pleasure Beach!

Would highly recommend :)

John & I have just returned from a 4 night stay at the Fairhaven Hotel and we are delighted we chose to stay in this hotel. Chris & Lillian were so kind, friendly & the most amazing hosts. The breakfast was exceptional and kept us going all day. Optional evening dinner was fantastic with an array of well cooked food. It was a pleasure to be in the company of so many guests who have returned to this hotel year after year. Thanks Chris & Lillian, Charlie (the dog) and Chris's Mum & Dad for your hospitality & hope to see you in the future

Great hospitality and lovely english breakfast. Easy to find, all in all great place to stay for a lovely holiday in blackpool with the family\!
Staff very welcoming. Beds could be comfier though but i guess for the price you pay for not too bad. Would definately reccommend to family and friends.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in July. It was my first trip to Blackpool or ever staying in a B&B. It was a fantastic weekend. The hotel was lovely and ran by 2 lovely people and their little dog Charlie who was no trouble at all. We were greeted on arrival by Chris who checked us in and showed us to our room. The en-suite room was spotless and the bathroom was huge with a lovely shower. There was 1 double bed and 1 single. Plenty of room to get ready for our nights out!!! We gave in our breakfast order to Chris – which was a full English with all the trimmings!! The next morning we went down to breakfast a little worse for wear!!! We got treated lovely by Lillian who served us with the most delicious breakfast which certainly did the trick. The breakfast had cereals, fruit, toast (Which was amazing) and the full English. We met some lovely people at breakfast that were also staying for the weekend. The location of the hotel was great we were a 5 mins walk from the shopping centre and about 10 mins from the tower. Overall it was a great weekend and when I go back to Blackpool I will certainly be staying here again. Thanks Chris and Lillian!!

I booked this b and b as a result of reading the exceptional reviews. Dont believe all you read. The owners especially Chris were very friendly. But unfortunately the rest of our stay was average. The bed wasnt made on our second night and the tea tray was not replenished.

My friend and I stayed in the Fairhaven for a weekend and found Chris and Lilian to be so friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely and very clean, breakfast was great and the hotel was a short walk to the prom. We will definitely be back.

1. Location = couldn't get better, 5 minute walk down to central pier on the beach front.

2. Local amenities = small shops, bank machine, places to eat & pubs all within very short walking distance.

3. Access = Very easy to reach once in Blackpool. Clear signage so won't be missed!

4. The owners = Chris & Lillian couldn't have been any more welcoming if they tried! Certainly demonstrates to us why to stay in a B&B over a hotel chain for our w'ends away in the UK. Both Chris and Lillian were available all throughout and helped us with anything we required.

5. Parking = There is on site limited parking around the back and we could park and leave our car there all weekend. Even if there are no spaces here there is a secure car park within a very short walking distance for only £6 a day.

6. Breakfast, food and drink = Breakfast was unbelievable! We could pick anything we wanted from an extensive list and they cooked each item exactly how you wanted. 10/10! Chris was always on hand to serve us drinks at the bar whenever we required and both Chris and Lillian sat and talked to us taking a genuine interest in who we were. We didn't eat dinner here but going by everything else, in sure it's excellent.

7. The room = Spotless & had everything we needed. Nice en suite with shower with all toiletries supplied. Beds were comfortable.

8. Overall = flawless. We was a group of 4 couples and I am sure I can speak for everybody when I say this B&B can be recommended to anybody.

Thank you to Chris and Lillian for helping to make our holiday in Blackpool a memorable one.
