let me start by saying Freezing both the place and the owner, We stay in blackpool every month and Legends spoilt our weekend, we had been told by a friend not to stay at this place but i had already booked, i tried to get my deposit back but the owner was very abrupt during my call, I can see some good reviews but i dont know how, me and my partner and the people who tried to put us off had a very very poor stay, yes the breakfast was ok but the same id say as every other place. plenty of places to stay in blackpool, this is not one of them.

Room Tip: dont choose any

Sorry this review is a long time comming due to family problems but we felt we had to write it because of the great time we had at Legends during November 2011.

Our room was warm and nicely decorated and contained a comfortable King-sized bed which was very welcome to return to as it was rather cold and windy in Blackpool at the time. Jill was an excellent hostess, soon picking up on our breakfast likes and dislikes and providing alternatives. Although she went on holiday during our stay she had arranged excellent cover in the shape of her friend Liz who catered for our every whim even providing some delicious potato pancakes to accompany our breakfast.

Legends is an excellent base for the gay scene, Blackpool North railway station and indeed Blackpool in general and we would highly recommend it.

We've been going to Blackpool for a few years now and when we first went in 2009 we were searching for gay/lesbian b & b and came across Legends.
We stayed there for 3 nights and loved it, great location (in the heart of 'gay' Blackpool), great rooms, great price, great breakfast and lovely hostesses.
Everytime we've been back to Blackpool we've only stayed here and probably only would as everything about the b & b is lovely.

Booked this as a last minute night away and will definitely be back! It's a warm, friendly and very clean guesthouse and we were made to feel very welcome by Gill. Great value for money, within walking (staggering??) distance of the best pubs and a great brekkie in the morning if you're not too hungover to enjoy!
We would definitely recommend it and look forward to going back.
Thanks again Gill for making us feel so welcome

We were put in the smallest, grottiest, vilest room imaginable. It was just cheap and nasty, however the "water closet" with shower was clean. It cost us £46 inc breakfast for 1 night, and it makes me gag when I recall the breakfast experience. The coffee was simply hot brown water and the full English consisted of hard cardboard bacon, the cheapest sausage imaginable, the toast was like eating mdf etc... Jill was a pleasant lady but that does not take away the grot hole of a room and foul breakfast. Overall experience was just vile.. just vile!!

Room Tip: Dont go into room 6
