We recently had a short break at the St Albans hotel and we can definately say we will be back, the hotel is very clean, and our room spotless and airey, with a great seaview!Hotel was well situated(15mins walk from town center)and it also had free parking which was very handy! Both Allen and Carol were very friendly and made you feel welcome from the off.Breakfast was excellent, while carol was always making sure you had enough coffee, tea, toast etc.Hotel also had a bar which was great while i waited for the girlfriend to get ready!Overall a great hotel which i would recommend to anyone!!Will definitely be visiting again.

Just got back from what i can say was a lovely hotel with very welcoming and friendly owners. Hotel very cosy and the bedrooms very clean and airy, the room was abit on the small side but straight away we were asked if we also wanted to have a single room next door free of charge as there was 3 of us which i thought was very nice of the landlady to offer us, but we were happy as we were. The breakfast in the morning was superb an it sets you up for the whole day its a 3 course breakfast and carole the landlady is always coming round to make sure everyones ok and asking if you want anymore, but i can assure anybody that you get plenty and plenty of tea an coffee as well. The hotel is situated on the sea front and in a great spot for all the attractions if you want to walk, but if you dont like walking to far there is a tram and bus-stp outside the hotel. Hotel is situated between south and central pier. If you drive there are about 9 off road parking spaces at the front of the hotel so you don,t have to worry about where to park your car.I would definatley reccommend this hotel to anyone looking for affordable prices with a freindly atmosphere.Look here before you book anywhere else in Blackpool. Go see for yourself and i will guarantee once you have stopped there you won,t want to stop anywhere else.

Just returned from a brilliant two night break at the St Albans Hotel on the Blackpool Promenade.

If you find better hosts in Blackpool than Carole and Allen then I assure you you will be doing very well for yourselves. They both went out of their way to ensure that everybody in the hotel was happy. From what I could gather everbody WAS happy !

Right from having our rooms ready for check-in at 8am (I do like to get to Blackpool early !!), we couldn't find a fault at all.

Hotel was absolutely spotless. Bed comfortable, room just the right size and the shower was great.

The breakfast was superb too, although after over-doing things at the Laughing Donkey on the previous night I couldnt manage one on day 2 !!

Considering we only paid £130 for two rooms for two nights I really cannot overstate just how much value for money the St Albans offers.

At a time when the doom mongers are predicting the death of Blackpool etc etc, there's plenty of life in the old girl whilst places like this still exist !

Thanks again Carole and Allen from Dave, Lesley, Emily and Tyler !
