We ( husband , wife, 2 children and mother-in-law) booked into the Belvedere for only one night in half term. I booked this after having read great reviews on trip advisor and was delighted to find all the postings were true. From the minute we arrived into the warm relaxing atmosphere we experienced an exceptional service. We were offered a cup of tea, our bags to be collected from the car and the impression of nothing being too much trouble. After a full day at the pleasure beach it was great to come back to the cosy bar and relax while the children played on the Wii and tried on a variety of hats and wigs from the barrell of fun!
The room was as described and as others have said before immaculate. I am quite obsessive about hotel cleanliness and everywhere was spotless.
Breakfast served to your table ( so much nicer than queueing at a buffet as we have at other hotels ) was wonderful, hot and just the right proportion. They willingly catered for the children and adapted to their needs.
My big regret is not booking more nights, which we will do next time.
This is Blackpool as it should be and is a must stay for those with or without children looking for a warm, friendly, unique hotel in the quieter part of Blackpool.
