Just back from spending 24th-28th September at the Boston hotel. Had a great time in the company of nice people. Staff could not do enough to assist those staying. Entertainment was excellent, the food was good especially the sausages L.O.L., cleanliness in general was good. Bar prices were reasonable for a hotel. Will return as made new friends.

We stayed in this Hotel 14th-17th Sept..Staff Were polite & helpful.Food was good..Sometimes during daytime bar was left unattended & took a while to get a drink ..Hotel states that it had 54 refurbished bedrooms...Beg to differ...we were on 1st floor & our room was definately in need of a refurb..We stayed for 4 days & never had towels changed in that time..Entertainment was good as was prize money in the bingo..All in all not too bad for the money we paid.

Where do I start, looking at the hotel from outside lovely.

Rooms- clean and good size for a family of 4. You get clean towels on arrival and as you do in most hotels you put dirty towels in bath or shower and get clean towels to replace the dirty ones. I asked housekeeper for new ones and as she said she would have to come and check our towels as if they weren't dirty and she had to send them down the manager gary would go off his head. anyway she changed one. SHOCKING!!!!!

Breakfast- was ok. NOTE TO HOTEL. you need beans or tomato with a breakfast as its toooooo dry.

Dinners- lovely. no complaints

entertainment- fab.

Overall- fine. but bring your own towels if you want them changed

Just back on the 17th Sept from my 2nd time at the Boston Hotel and both times I had my children with me and I cannot fault it! The staff are lovely and very helpful and accommodating, especially when the kids want something different to eat. Joe was lovely as usual, as all the staff are. Food is soooooo good! Can't fault that either. The entertainment is great and the kids are always welcome. Only one complaint about the comedian that was there on Saturday, no one made me aware that he was going to be so rude as my 9 year old daughter was happily sitting in the bar with her DSi and my mum and I had to take her up to bed as the comedian was pure filth. Hilarious but I would like to have been told he was going to be so rude. Other than that, no complaints. Our room was lovely, as expected but we were in room 116, right above the bar and it got very loud. Thankfully, the kids were so tired it didn't bother them. All in all, a wonderful 2nd stay at the Boston and we will definitely be back! Highly recommend The Boston to anyone :)

We stayed in this hotel from the 3rd to the 7th September, the staff are really nice and helpful, although the rooms are clean, the rest of the hotel could do with decorating, the seats in the lounge need renewing as the springs were coming through.

We were in room 120 and 121 I would not accept these rooms as the music was really loud and went on till well after midnight, we did have a word with the manager and he would of moved us but we needed two rooms next to each other and they didnt have them, we were with my mother who is 85 and didn't want to stay up everynight till well after midnight, it was not worth trying to go to bed as we would not be able to get to sleep.

As for the food this is not home made food, one night I had Braised steak with smash potato I would not expect to be given that in a hotel, the breakfast was ok although the eggs were always hard. The staff in the dining room were really helpful and made sure my husband all ways got something as he is very fussy.

Trying to park in this hotel is not easy either, we went out and could never get parked when we came back, then the day we were leaving we were all ready to go only to find out we were blocked in, when i asked whos car it was, it was the managers car.

I would not stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: Dont accept rooms 120 or 121 as you will have no sleep till well after midnight.

A huge thanks to all the staff at the Boston Hotel who went out of there way to attend to anything we required, especially Joe our waiter who was always very helpful and friendly & Maggie who cooked up some lovely meals which my friends and i thoroughly enjoyed. Our rooms were very clean, comfortable and very nicely decorated. We were well entertained every evening especially by Aideen & Jimmy Nairn. We will certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Blackpool and look forward to staying there again. Rowan 4 - Blane 1

Room Tip: room 312 with a sea view was more spacious than some of the other double rooms
