After looking for weeks for a decent hotel with good reviews, boy was it worth the wait.
There is nothing bad i can say about this place, Sean was excellent welcomed us with a cup of tea/coffee, which really does help after a long journey, and then done the paperwork.
Rooms were nicely decorated, and clean as was the en suite bathroom. freeview was a bonus as we went for a short break to relax.
Even as we were leaving we got offered a cup of tea/coffee, and sean sat down and had a chat with us, now this is something that has never happened with us having stayed in hotels all over the world.
I would strongly recommend this hotel in blackpool look no further.

Just came back from Blackpool for the September weekend. Had an amazing time in Blackpool itself! But this was made even better with having a really nice place to stay!.Sean and Mark made us feel so welcome...they even greeted us with a cup of tea! and you dont get that everywhere!
The Oakleigh is situated at the South Pier, which is good for the pleasure Beach! But we enjoyed the walk along the promenade towards the Tower and other attractions.
The rooms are modern with free view television, which my son loved! But they are also spotless, very clean and a nice bathroom. Anything you needed they would assist you,we had clean Towels for our stay!
Our Breakfast was made to order every morning with lots of tea and toast!!
And if you had a hard day out walking you could just relax in the Lounge! They had a perfect parking space for our car just outside the Hotel!
I will definatly be returning here and will recommend this place to anyone wishing to stay in Blackpool.
Thanks once again for everything!

Spent 2 nights in Room 8. Made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. Sean could not do enough to help. Room clean and nicely decorated, with tea/coffee tray, LCD freeviw TV. Only slight bad point the mattress was uncomfortable. But revived in morning with excellent full english breakfast made to order. Good value for money.

Quite a long walk to centre of Blackpool (about 30-40 minutes) but tram and bus stops near. Taxi fare approx £6.

What can I say?? On arrival, met by Sean who took our luggage, parked my car and made us a drink!! Showed us our rooms - which was a pleasant surprise as the kids had their own room (bunk bed) and TV with freeview - fantastic!!!
The location is ideal on the South side - close to the beach, loads of shops, restaurants, take-aways. Altho after Sean's full breakfast - you could walk the Golden Mile and back again with the added energy - even with 2 little ones (aged 5 & 7).
You can't go wrong staying here - as its close to EVERYTHING you could possibly need!!
Very clean, comfortable rooms - all done by Sean - YES a domesticated VERY NICE man!!!
Sean is a fountain of knowledge - if you are stuck of where to go or take the kids - coupled with vouchers and if you're on a budget - he will also tell you where you can go twice as cheap!!
You won't be disappointed...........in fact, we plan to go back in October!! So, get you're walking feet ready - it'll be great!!!

This place was more like staying with family than a hotel. We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrive with a cup of tea while we sorted out the details.
The location is not as central to Blackpool as some of the others but we were able to walk in each day without any problems. The room was clean and comfortable and the hosts were very helpful going that little bit further to make sure we had a pleasant time.
