“Home from Home Excellent!”

From the first cup of tea on arrival to the last hug goodbye it was a fantastic unforgettable B&B. Even my 9 yr old daughter couldnt wait to get 'home' to show Derek and Rhiann her tattoo . Nothing was too much trouble , breakfast was amazing and the chats at the bar at night made it all more homely. I would recommend the Wilmar to anybody going to Blackpool. Minutes away from the pleasure beach and pier, and there was even directions to the local shop for lottery tickets! Thanks Derek and Rhiann for a lovely stressfree holiday. Get ready to take the Dunlop pic again cause we will be back!

Room Tip: The rooms had all you need for a brilliant comfy stay. Beds and rooms spotlessly clean, little choco...

Have just returned from Wilmar hotel and really had to write a review. I travelled with my husband and 2 young children (6 and 2). On arrival we were offered refreshements for all the family and given a really warm welcome. we were asked preferences for our breakfast the next morning which was a really wide variety based around the full english. We were then taken to our family room which was immaculately clean, presented with pristine white towels, TV and DVD player, tea, coffee and bottles of fresh water. The kids had bunk beds which were in an adjoining room which was great as it gave both us and the kids a bit of extra space. We were given loads of advice of where to go to eat, play etc. Even when we came back during the day soaking wet from the rain we were given the option of having warm drinks in the bar or front room (which had loads of cuddleys for the kids)
We had a great nights sleep and next morning we had a freshly cooked breakfast as well as toast and cereals. My daughter was given a special toddler plate with a mini mouse fork and nothing was too much trouble.
My husband has been going to Blackpool for 30 years and he said that is the best place he has stayed in
It is obvious that Derek & Rhianon really care about their guests as the attention to detail is second to non. We will not hesitate to stay here again.

We found this little jem mant years ago and with its current owners it just gets better. Ideal for the pleasure beach, it is still close to the tram and bus lines for trips to town but without the noise of a central hotel. From the moment you arrive nothing is to much trouble weather it be extra pillows or special diets, and Derick and Rian do all in there powers, and more, to make yoyr stay special.

The B&B is in a great location for the Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Rhianon and Derek who run the B&B were so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic - at last a B&B who don't serve slimey oil covered food. Portions were generous and cooked to perfection. The whole place was clean. Had a great stay and the overall experience at the B&B added to that. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Room Tip: Next to Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Lovely B&B.

Family of 6 (2 teenage girls, 2 young lads). We chose the Wilmar on the strength of all the positive reviews we read and it was easy to see why Derek and Rhiannons Hotel was held in such high regard. Our rooms were clean, bright and homely, the beds were comfy, the Breakfast was marvelous and plentiful and nothing seemed too much trouble for Derek and Rhiannon who were warm and friendly and great with our children. There were also lovely touches such as a cup of tea as soon as we arrived, chocolate mints on the pillows and bottled water in the rooms. The location is perfect, a short walk (couple of hundred yards) to the pleasure beach and prom and just far enough away not to be disturbed by noise at night. A great family friendly hotel. We will definately be returning.
