“Good water park”
Reviewed April 5, 2013

This is a well themed and well presented water park. Great entertainment for kids when the weather is cold or wet oustide. There are numerous slides and a wave pool. Food is provided from themed bars at reasonable price. New electronic wrist bands with credit (£20) making paying much easier. Only criticism was it was busy and there was little for small children to do. There is a "childrens pool" but had larger kids splashing around and running through it. Water in the larger pool did get quite cold, especially after having sat out of the water eating for 20 minutes

“great value day out”
Reviewed April 3, 2013

i took my daughter for her 11th birthday with 3 of her friends during the opening week of the current season. tickets cost £11 entry each plus £6 each for the hyperzone wristband (optional) which entitles you to go on the 'white knuckle' rides. Really good value i think considering it's for the whole day. 10AM til 5.30PM when we visited. The cinema can cost that much for 2 hours entertainment!!!!! The changing rooms were spotless as were the toilets. Plenty of lockers available too. I didn't go in the water so took a good book with me and watched the girls from the balcony. Plenty of seats in the viewing areas but i can imagine they get taken up quite quickly during busier times. Food and drink is reasonably priced and good quality. make sure you have plenty of change for the car park!!!!!

“Fun way to spend a couple of hours”
Reviewed April 3, 2013 via mobile

Just returned from a trip to the Sandcastle with my 9 year old daughter. We arrived just before it opened at 9.30 which I would recommend because it was incredibly busy by 10.30. By 11 am it was too crowded for us to enjoy ourselves so we decided to leave. This is a fun and warm! way to spend a couple of hours. Just make sure you go early if its school holidays!

“Best Family Day In A Long Time”
Reviewed April 3, 2013

Excellent value for money. Pre-booked on the Internet to save 10% which also allows you to queue jump which is a bonus .There is something for all ages from little ones to the older ones . We purchased a Hyperzone wrist band which allowed the older two to access all the big slides. The cash wrist band is a great idea so you don't have to carry money round with you all day , simply by paying our money onto it then the change was given to us when we left .All the staff were very friendly and more than happy to help .We had non stop fun all day . The changing rooms were very clean and the food was reasonably priced ... Overall we had the the Best Family Day Out In ALong Time .... We will go again soon :-)
