When we first pulled up outside we were expecting to see the scruffy, good for nothing lay about who calls her herself Tanya aka mother of the year!! but got a very plesent surprise when we met Auln an all together more loveable character who was Evey and Norms new goffer and couldnt have done enough for us!!! In fact I dont think there was anyhting in the place he didnt take care of he gives a new meaning to the phrase "over worked under or in his case not paid"!!!
As per our previous three stay there was no improvement to the stench of the place and gag would be an understatement!!!! (Evey you do know you can by airfreshner in the pound shop) As alway however the rooms are clean and comfy and bedding fresh.
Drink in their stylish yet understated bar lounge is cheap and the measures large. There is always good crack and someone to get you to your bed safely at the end of a hard nite.
The breakfast room aka "something from the dark ages" remains unchanged but the breakfast it self was on this occassion cooked by another new addittion to the Smee family "Dave the rave" and was very tasty!!! Although Dave himself was not such a likeable fellow and continually went on about his lost hat!!
Our only critism would be that sadly on this trip Evey spent most of her time at her new cafe Lowries, however she did state we brightened up her day when on the satarday we visited her in the work place!!
All in all the corner veiw is like home from home in blackpool and you couldnt meet a nicer bunch of folk!! We would NEVER stay anywhere else and are considering a weeks stay for next year
We now consider Norm,Evey and especially Auln,Auln,Auln to be close personal freinds and have planned regular contact by phone txt and letter!!!
We love you all see you soon!!!!xxx
