We had a fantastic stay, our room was lovely, clean and cosy. Mick really looked after us and nothing was too much trouble for him. Breakfast was yummy and plentiful. We will definitely stay again in the future.

my husband and I just came back from a 2 night stay at the beachwood guest house, as soon as we arrived we were shown to our room which was very nice, the bed was comfortable and had all you could ask for in a room, colour flat screen TV, coffee, tea making facilities and a lovely ensuite shower and toilet, (I was impressed by the wallpaper in the bathroom) we had the ground floor room. we were made to feel very welcome and was surprised by a lovely and thoughtful birthday card for my husband tucked in our door for when we got back from our day out. The breakfast was lovely couldn't ask for more, mick was very friendly and was always there to help us out and made sure we had everything we needed, even offered us more than we expected. we will be returning again in june 2014 and would highly recommend to friends and family. anyone staying at the beachwood will not be disappointed. thankyou for a lovely time,
jade and chris porter

I recently stayed at this B+B with my wife after reading the positive reviews on line. We found the property warm and clean but very dated, although in keeping with the budget price of £15 per-person per night. We found the landlord very warm and friendly, although found the landlady's racist comments quite upsetting. I would have expected a more professional stance from someone in the hospitality business. These comments were passed to another guest over breakfast and were unacceptable. On this basis I will regrettably be forced to seek accommodation elsewhere when visiting Blackpool next.

Just stayed here with my mam and two children for a night to see the illuminations. Its about three streets away from the pleasure beach so fab location. The owners are fantastic...so friendly and do anything to help you. We had the family room at the top which was absolutely huge...loads of space. The decor is dated but very clean and the kids loved the Winnie the Pooh theme. Would definately return.

We decided to go to Blackpool on our way home and after googling we found this guest house and phoned to book their family room, I am so glad we found this it was spotless and the breakfast was amazing. Mick and Margaret are lovely people and were very friendly. The price is amazing too. I would recommend this guest house to everyone. If you are planning a break in Blackpool then see if this guest house has any vacancies you won't be disappointed. It is also close to the pleasure beach and the sandcastle and the south pier.
