Brilliant apartment, great location, just a short walk from the tram stop and all the attractions. The lights were amazing, people extremely friendly. Tesco is a short walk away for provisions. Andy who manages the apartments is lovely and very helpful. Basic stuff like teabags and washing up liquid provided. You do have to purchase an electric card though (through Andy) £10 should be more than enough for a long weekend but we were caught in the storm so had to use the heating to dry stuff! Took us ten hours to get there from Plymouth but that’s because the M6 is a nightmare there is pretty much roadworks all the way! The apartment was well equipped the only thing i would say they could add was instructions for the induction Hob, a dustpan and brush, and a casserole/Pyrex dish of some sorts, but overall brilliant ☺️
Good location with only a short walk to the promenade where you can get a tram or bus to the main attractions, you can buy a 24 hour pass (on the tram or bus) which you can use on all trams and buses for £5 per person (also group deals which are even cheaper).
Plenty of shops and takeaways nearby for supplies.
Clean and tidy apartment well equipped with everything you are likely to need (bring your own towels).
Electricity charged separately (power cards) which you can purchase from the caretaker Andy who was very welcoming and helpful.
We will be back.
We stayed here with our 2 young boys and the apartment was ideal, just what we needed. It is basic but was clean, had fresh bed linen and the location was brilliant. Andy downstairs was very helpful and parking was right outside. Couldn't have faulted it. Will definitely be back.
Great location lovely welcome beautiful fresh clean modern appartment lovely little added extras tea coffee milk biscuits wash liquid sponge t towel etc would deffo recommend and return
The location of this apartment is spot on , not to close to the main part of Blackpool but near enough, convenient for local shopping and bars etc.
Upon arrival at Sienna Apartments was meet by Andy, was very welcoming, helpful and friendly
The apartment itself was very clean and modern and comfortable
It was perfect for what we needed...and would highly recommend it .
Well we booked purely on the recommendations on trip advisor. Five stars was a strong draw, but what a disappointment. We go away every new year in self catering appartments, so it's inevitable that we compare one appartment against another. This is one of the worst we've been in. It's a good location though not far from the promenade.
First impression was that it was clean, and the reception we got from Andy was very pleasant. However we thought the appartment very basic..
The kitchen looked great with really smart units, but how anyone can give it 5 stars for equipment is beyond me.
No grill pan? No chopping board? Only two oven shelves? Just 4 plates, three wine glasses (though Andy sorted this). Two fruit juice glasses? Four forks two of which were small. No dish for the micro wave. No cheese grater? No jug? No oven dishes?
A brand new unused griddle pan that was aluminium. Aluminium doesn't work on an induction hob, so totally useless. No egg cups? 5 star for equipment, no way. Good fridge freezer though. No instruction for the oven, and it's one of those infernal under counter ovens where you have to cook on your knees. So if you want to really self cater, and cook in house, you will struggle.
Bedrooms, though second one is small, you have a seven yard walk down a dark corridor to the bathroom, were adequate. The beds however we found very comfortable and the linen was very clean and comfortable. The main bedroom needs re painting, as some of the paint was coming of the walls.
Bathrooms were big and had good equipment, but not enough furniture, very bare
Owners get some pictures on the walls, very bare. Buy a clock for the lounge. How about a standard lamp in the sitting room. Very dim. Get some bigger mirrors for the bedrooms. The whole place needs brightening up.
Parking out front is on a first come basis. But we were lucky and got a space and didn't need to move after that.
Electric is by meter that takes £5 and £10 cards purchased from Andy, but it's not cheap.
So after all that why have I given it three stars. I tend to assess based on what I perceive as value for money. This place was very cheap compared to other appartments we have rented, so therefore reasonable value for money. If we'd have paid more it would have got less stars.
But please note. It was clean.
