On arrival we were greeted by Sue, she is very friendly and helpful even went with my husband to park car. Spotless clean, bedrooms very comfy as were beds. We had interconnecting room for kids which was fantastic. Had evening meal there, great value for money and real home cooked food. Bar area lovely and son was great at making 1tr jugs of cocktails for a brilliant price of £8 couldn't fault pricing. Bottle Red Wine £7 and for the hubby Brown Ale he was well impressed. Breakfast spot on, nothings any trouble 5**** fantastic. On a night we sat in lounge shoes off so comforty they made us feel like we were home from home. Location spot on 10 mins to Tower or 10 mins to Pleasure Beach. Sue even gave us 2-1 tickets for Dungeons which is a must place to go if you have never been. Had fantastic weekend made even better by surroundings. Thank you.

Room Tip: Would defo recommend for couples or families.

Arrived 1.50pm & luckily got a car space across the road. The Caroldene is a nice, small, quiet B&B in a side street just off the main coast road. Room was small but we knew that form their excellent website (my 7 year old loves bunk beds anyway) Excellent location, almost halfway between Central & South piers (South slightly closer) Nice breakfast & good pint of Tetley's. Would recommend this B&B for a short break with family. As for Blackpool - bring plenty of Wonga!!

What can I say except thanks to Sue, Ken and Andrew for giving us a great time whilst stopping in their home. We really don't know how Sue does it...up at the crack of dawn running the place like magic until the sun goes to bed. The room was fine for a weekend stay for us with everything we needed. En-suite was there as were the tea and coffee making facilities. Molly, our pet bulldog was made to feel like it was her home too and with the hotel being so close to the beach it was great for Her morning and evening runs. The home cooked food in the hotel is 5 stars + everything from the cooked full English down to the bar food, (which is served until around 10-00pm)....Definitely no hesitation in returning to The Caroldene again. Once again, thanks to Sue, Ken and Andrew.

Arrived on Sunday after a long trip from Scotland, we were welcomed in by a really polite and friendly young man, he showed us round downstairs and took us to our room. Yes it was on the 3rd floor but no worries for us. Hubby went to ask about parking, again no trouble, sorted it straight away. The room, whilst small was perfectly clean, had everything we needed. Again bathroom was small, but for a few days in Blackpool, what else do you need. Clean towels, kettle, tea, coffee, a tv, beds! Breakfast was great, full fry up, toast and tea set us up for the day.

All in all, We really enjoyed our stay, we slept well, ate well and had a cracking holiday. Would recommend and we will be returning again.

The Caroldene is a great place to stay, quiet bar but that is to be expected for a small, family run hotel. This is the 2nd time we stayed with Sue,Ken and Andrew, and we will be back again. Excellent choices for breakfast, rooms were spotless each time we stayed. Bus & Tram stops a few minutes walk away. Sue and family will bend over backwards to help you, if you need help with any thing. We have recommended The Caroldene, to family and friends, thanks again Sue
