“Good Fun”
Reviewed September 26, 2012

Came here with my grandma, she managed to get round okay with her walker. It was a little pricey at 15 pounds for two and parking. However I would go again with my boyfriend as I love model villages and I enjoyed the mini quiz. If you do not follow the quiz you would miss bits and pieces hidden here and there and probably wouldn't feel that you got as much value for money as it would be a quick walk round and done. Following the quiz helps you to find everything and makes you notice the little details. The ice cream at the end is handmade and worth a try. I would also point out that it was a windy day but there was plenty of shelter from the trees.

“Marvelous time”

When you pay you are given a questionnaire which, if you follow it and answer all the questions not only does it ensure you see everything but adds to the experience. Not only is this great for adults but definitely helps to add to the enjoyment and concentration of the children. It was surprising though, to see some families wandering aimlessly around not knowing what to look at or which direction to go in order to to see all the exhibits.

“Fantastic afternoon out for small children”
Reviewed September 12, 2012

I live in Blackpool and as my children grew up we visited here regularly every summer. It never failed to delight them. It's an old-fashioned, low-tech attraction but is just a charming little oasis of peace. Love it.

“tranquil place to dream”
Reviewed September 9, 2012

By the way, just my opinion, but reading a few reviews about this place minutes ago, i cant help but feel the negative inputs have been made by people who havent taken the time to do this attraction properly. Myself and my good lady (47 year olds and young at heart) took a wander round this place yesterday (sat 8th sept) done the quiz thingy and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Its a nice wee escape from the hustle and bustle of real life. Its ideal for kids of a young age, or just if you want a wee romantic stroll with a loved one. Well tended gardens/flowers/grass and mature trees help with the atmosphere, all in all a good afternoon out. Will be back.
P.S. take your time and do it properly.

Very good but it was expensive. The Ice Creams from there were a 'tad' dear, as they was £1.80 in price. However I loved the little Police Man, and the little shops and Coca-Cola fridge.
Thanks for that experience.
