We chose the Branston as a last minute getaway while the weather was good. When we arrived Mike was waiting to greet us and Sally wasted no time in offering us refreshments after our journey. The were fabulous hosts and made us so welcome and at home. Lovely people. The room was spotless and comfortable and there's also parking around the back which was great for our motorbike. We'll definitely stay again in the future.

Just back today from our second stay with Mike and Sally.
Great hosts, spotlessly clean and great breakfasts, nothing is too much trouble for these truly lovely people. Cannot recommend The Branston Lodge Guest House highly enough, they have excellent roomy rooms, great shower and a good car park (free).
A fellow guest's granddaughter had a birthday and our hosts bought a birthday card and sang happy birthday, fabulous touch.
We loved our stay and will most certainly be back.
Thank you Mike and Sally x

We stayed at Branston Lodge, Blackpool last week. Mike and Sally were excellent, the best place to stay in Blackpool we've found so far and we'll definitely be back. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast set us up for the day. Looking forward to a return visit!

Mike and Sally are wonderful hosts. After spending 5 minutes with them we felt like we had known them forever. Mike and Sally are friendly and welcoming and their location is perfect - just a Hop, Skip and a Jump to The Pleasure Beach and South Pier. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Branston Lodge. We had a family room as there was three of us, the room could have slept four and there would still have been plenty of space. Rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. Well worth the four stars it has been given. Breakfast was gorgeous and fantastically cooked. We couldn't have hoped for a better over all experience. We hope to return soon.

This guest house is fantastic, mike and sally are the perfect hosts, the lodge is in the perfect location for all the fun that blackpool has to offer.
The guest house is very clean and so welcoming we arrived to some nice tea and coffee after our journey which was so nice.
Our room was quite big and very nice.
And car parking was no bother as there was parking for us round the back.
Breakfast each morning was excellent.
All in all a very good place to stay and we would definatly recommend to all.

After bickering over who was the designated driver to attend a 'boozy' party in Blackpool, we booked the Branston Lodge Guest House on the series of good reviews on Tripadvisor. We normally choose to stay in large hotels as we both like the anonymity it brings, however, on this occasion, we begrudged paying the Bank Holiday inflated prices for a less than 24 hour stay.
Upon arriving at the Branston Lodge, we were greeted by Mike, a bubbly and friendly guy who instantly made us feel welcome. He also directed and personally assisted with parking our car at the rear of the hotel. His wife, Sally, who we met later, had an equally warm and friendly persona.
During our stay, we were accommodated in room 7. Having stayed in various Blackpool B&Bs on previous visits, I was pleasantly surprised upon opening the door at being greeted with a very generously spaced, beautifully decorated, light and airy room. I'm a little 'OCD' which drives my partner insane but after conducting my obligatory cleanliness inspection, I was even more surprised as to how immaculately maintained the room was - the en-suite bathroom, cups and kettle included!
That night, we had a great, uninterrupted sleep in the large comfy bed. There were 2 types of pillows to choose from which was great, especially as I suffer from neck problems and usually resort to bringing along my own bedding from home.
The next morning, we attended breakfast. After a night of 'beer swilling', there's nothing better than a good old fry-up and what a fry-up we were given! Bacon, egg, beans, sausage, mushrooms, tomato, hash brown and toast with a variety of spreads. Wonderful! We were even offered a choice of cereal, fresh orange and coffee in a mini cafetiere. Believe me, this was not the Blackpool B&B experience we were expecting. Fantastic!
I cannot begin to convey just how great this B&B is. It's reasonably priced, conveniently located and provides everything you need (free WiFi included). For us personally, the proprietors (Mike and Sally) made our stay extra welcoming and with this in mind, they are obviously born to cater in this industry. In fact, the whole package has changed my mind about staying in smaller, intimate accommodation in future.
