Just had a lovely week end away with my daughter son inlaw and my twin grandaughters we had such a lovely time although there were only a few people in the hotel everything was perfect ,James the new supervisor was great he did an excellent job running the restraunt and seeing to everyone's needs ,anything the girls wanted he saw to it without any problems ,the hotel were lovely and warm the rooms where spot less, because the weather was not good we spent all morning in the pool and the steam room the girls loved it . I must praise all the staff they did the Doric proud nothing was to much trouble for any of them I must mention jake he was running the bar aswell has helping out in the restraunt he was superb and thanks to you all for making our weekend so successful

Just been to the Doric Hotel for a family and friends weekend break. We paid £73 and we got excellent value for the money. We have been coming here for about 5 years now, the same weekend and our group varies in size but is usually around 65-70. This year including children there were 78 of us. The food is very good, a varied menu and the dining room staff are friendly and can't do enough for you. The rooms are ensuite and comfortable. If you need anything you just ask and its sorted. The entertainment includes bingo and a singer/singers on our weekends and is usually very good. It is next door to the Uncle Tom's cabin so if you prefer, you can enjoy whatever is on there in the evening. The Doric treated the children to a Children's Entertainer this year at no extra cost. What a lovely thing to do! The children really enjoyed it. Me and my husband took two of our grandchildren to the Doric in October for the illuminations. It was such a lovely weekend and we all had a great time. Especially popular with our group is the pool, jaquzzi and steam room downstairs. We had a great weekend and have booked again for next year.

Room Tip: The family suites are good, ours was number 2. It was very warm so we turned our radiator off and o...

I once again spent Christmas, Twixmas & New Year in Blackpool with a group staying here and the equally as good sister hotel The Park House. My family and I had our meals here on Christmas day and as always everything was first class. The food, the staff and the rest of the guests made this another excellent festive season at the Doric Hotel.

I've stayed at this hotel for 2 summers and I love it. The staff are welcome and really on the dot at mealtimes so we're not waiting too long between meals.
The rooms are lovely and modern with amazing views and the tellys are really modern too.
Every aspect of this hotel is to a high standard and ill continue holidaying here. Only downfall is the wait to get to your room when you first arrive.
