Been coming here on a yearly basis for over 10 years. Great location - everything easily accessible. Amazing food and service. Friendly, helpful staff who genuinely care. Clean rooms - great for singles, couples or families - bar and entertainment too. Never not been 100% happy.

Spent a very pleasant 5 day break at Ruskin on 16th June. I have to say the food is the best we have EVER experienced in our many trips to Blackpool. I thought perhaps the quality might have slipped a bit but no, everything was freshly cooked and all vegetables were fresh and not from a freezer shop. Portions were excellent and you never left the table feeling hungry. Food was always very hot as were the plates. Dining room staff were excellent and always knew your preferences for breakfast etc.

The rooms are small but spotlessly clean with clean towels every day and always a friendly hello from staff.

Lounge and bar area is very pleasant and bar staff cheery and always willing to chat.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone.

Only downside was there was only one night of entertainment. This may have been due to the fact that the World Cup football was on.

Visited the Ruskin on 20th/21st June for a weekend break. What a fantastic hotel. The room was clean and practical, great shower and had everything we required.
We stayed BB and Evening Meal, the food was absolutely fantastic! I don't know how they make a profit, if you like fine dining then this is the place. The staff were friendly and service was exceptionally quick. I have stayed in a lot of guest houses in Blackpool over the years but this is the best hotel by far. we will not be staying anywhere else.
Thanks again for a fantastic weekend and we will be booking another in the not too distant future.

Great Hotel and it made my Weekend. The Location is spot on(not on sea front), right by the main shopping area and of course the Drinking Establishments in Centre of Blackpool.
The hotel also as a well stocked Public bar at the front of the hotel and with very competitve prices i thought.
The Meals were first class and served by very polite staff all around the Hotel.

I Recommend the hotel to all ages who enjoy pleasant surroundings and of course enjoy the entertainment and socialising that the Hotel as to offer.

I had a few issues with my room on arrival, but straight away they looked after me and gave me another room with better access for me.

Room Tip: Tell them in advanced if you have any disabillities.

Went for the weekend 25th 26th may b&b , hassle free at reception and very friendly ,rooms spotless and bed very comfortable. tea ,coffee , hairdryer , flat screen tv,in room .bathrooms more than sufficient, great shower and toiletries included.down at the bar a good selection of drinks at a reasonable price friendly bar staff, had the breakfast both mornings and it was superb help yourself buffet .there was entertainment but we didnt see it so cant really comment .a couple of down points , could be doing with a vending machine in case of being parched or hungry during the night as I was (had to go to the 24hr macdonalds at the end of the road ) after a good day out after all it is blackpool.2nd point is that £180 for the two of us was a tad pricey we thought although no one was twisting my arm there are a lot cheaper hotels to pick from.
